Order number starts with 1016, but I'm not sure if that makes any difference based on all the posts made here....

Mine is a 1010 and I ordered 9/21 (last Sunday). So it appears the order numbers are useless in trying to track order processing.
 
Same here! I want to know what the difference is between the phone numbers! The 866 says processed and sent to warehouse to ship but the 877 number says backordered

Here is what I think is happening. I think there are pallets of phones sitting in warehouses and people are processing them as fast as they can. So, I think one system knows your phone is sitting in a pile of phones and the other system doesn't know anything until someone scans it in as it is being readied to ship.

It's just a guess though.
 
Shipped finally

iPhone 6+ 64GB SG
Premiere Order placed at around 12:30am PST, Confirmation email at 02:28am PST, texts at around 7pm on the same day. Order # starts from 1016

877# went from back-ordered to processing last night at around 11:30 CST and now says shipped, ~12 hours from processing to shipped. Premiere order status still shows 10/2-10/3 but i dont think thats relevant anymore.

Still waiting for tracking information, but I am hoping for tomorrow delivery. Hope this info helps you guys.

I got this email 2 days before having the 6 at my door... so I'm hoping getting this email now means the 6+ will also soon be there :)

you guys are saying your status changed on the 866 number, but what about the 877-782-8870 one? They both dont say processed i bet?

And at what point did this become a premier thread, been on here since day one and tired of seeing all these premier shipped when that has nothing to do with mine.....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Mine says processing on both as of last night around 9pm CST.

The difference is just another way for AT&T to confuse you.

There are about five different ways to check your status and they all have a different status.

Backorder
In progress
Pre order received
Preparing to ship
Pre order pending
 
SG iPhone 6 Plus 64GB ordered 2:05am Central on 12 September, received email confirmation @ 3:48am

Called 877 last night ~ 8:45 pm and noticed I had gone from backordered to processed.

Received email this morning @ 9:15 "Information about your ATT plan"

Checked on line status @ 9:50-ish and shipping had gone from pending to "shipped" but no tracking info.

10:05 FDX number showed up with pickup in Memphis for delivery to St Louis tomorrow.

I am NOT Premier....

Ugh; I feel so close, yet so far. My status on 877 last night at about the same time as you went from backordered to processed.

I received my email this morning, but at about 10:45. Now at 12:35PM, still no change on the online website (still says 'preparing to ship' as it always has).

I'd LIKE to think I'm still due for an update any minute now, but until it does... after all of this... I don't trust it. :(

Since it seems like premier accounts are the only ones getting fulfilled, it would be nice to know if any non-premier orders are going out.

Actually, the Premier customers got royally ****ed earlier in the process. We found out that there was a processing issue on our Premier orders and they were not actually processed until later in the day on 9/12, regardless of when we placed the order. So despite my ordering within minutes of preorders going live, people who ordered HOURS after me were having their orders shipped by launch day. It looks like they have just now started catching up to the Premier people.

Many standard ATT Consumer customers have already received their phones.

Just got a shipped notification from ATT for the 128g gold 6+. Premier site shows "Pending Confirmation" at same time. Never got an email from ATT; telephone status changed last night from "backordered" to pending.

I really think the main variable here is the UTC time stamp on your contract. I ordered at 1:05 MDT and got my contract with 8:36 UTC. Yesterday it switched from Backordered to Being Processed and then shipped for delivery today. SG 64 +.

My wife ordered immediately after me. Her contract was around 10:30 UTC. At first mine was Being Processed and hers was still Backordered. Within a few hours at most, hers moved to Being Processed. However, as yet hers has not shipped. Gold 64 +. I fully expect hers to ship today and be here tomorrow.

Based on my very small sample and the responses of others here I really think that they are shipping first come first served but based on UTC. However, UTC seems very random as was the case with my and my wife's phones.

I am also a premier customer and there may be truth to the fact that they are processing premier first. However, at the beginning it was completely the opposite with premier not getting any phones. But I can't be sure of that either.

I can relate to all your pain as just yesterday I was mad as hell. But it really seems like they are cranking more out and once you go from Backordered to Being Processed on the 877 number your phone is imminent.

Keep hope, if you are 10/3 you are next to ship and I haven't seen anyone go to something sooner, it just goes straight to shipped.

See, I'm not even sure that I would fully consider the contract timestamp to factor here. I'm Premier and ordered through NEXT an iPhone 6 Plus SG 64GB at 3:44am EDT on 09/12 and received confirmation at 5:09am. My contract timestamp says 9:09am UTC, which matches perfectly with my confirmation e-mail timestamp (i.e., 9:09am UTC - 4 hour difference = 5:09am EDT).

Furthermore, I spoke with a CSR via live chat yesterday around 6:00pm and asked what my actual timestamp was for when the order was RECEIVED BY AT&T's SYSTEM. After confusion on the end of two different CSRs, I finally found out that they didn't receive my order in their system until 8:24am, which is different than any of the timestamps I've seen. I asked if she could verify if that time was EDT, by which she replied that she didn't have access to that information and could only see basic order info, which seems slightly odd to me, but I should've asked what time zone she was in (maybe that would've been clearer).

Right now the time is 12:38pm EDT and here are my current statuses:

Premier/Business Direct website: Preorder Processing 10/02 -10/13;
- Premier Order Number: 1016.
myAT&T website: Preparing to Ship;
- AT&T Order Number: Begins with 6223.
UPS MyChoice: Nothing;
FedEX Delivery Manager/FedEX Insight: Nothing;
(866) Number: "Your pre-sale order has been received";
(877) Number: Backordered.

I apologize for the fairly lengthy post, but do you think when you update or post that you have received tracking information or the oh-so-famous "processing" status from the (877) number that you could also post what STATE you live in (if it's not already indicated on your profile)?

I've seen people posting that their phones have shipped from Chicago and Indiana, which makes me wonder if there's anyone from Michigan who have received their iPhones yet? If so, let me know!

Changed to processing on the 877 number last night. Received email from Fedex shipping manager at 8:51am and then from At&t premier at 9:25am. Still waiting on 16gb SG that was actually ordered first.
 
Can Anyone else who received their phones confirm they got this email right before getting a shipped notice?

About 3 hours after I got that email, I got a shipping confirmation for one of the three 6+'s I ordered. We have received 2 silver 64gb yesterday, but my 64gb SG has not shipped yet. Hope that helps.

WELL I ****ing havent and i am a non prem, and i also ordered before any of you. So now it seems i am getting screwed worse then you guys. Now i am so dam pissed its not even funny.....
 
Finally shipped Gold 128GB 6+ fed ex via 611

Pre order completed 9/12 3:30 am EST, was given 10/2 - 10/13 date this morning 877 number finally said processing from backordered. Just for the heck of it I checked 611 order status and it's the only place that gave me shipped status with tracking number so maybe you guys can try that because that is weird that it's the only place where my status says shipped with tracking info.

I got notification that it has shipped and will be at my house by end of day tomorrow. I'm in the Metro Detroit area.
