So, I ordered on the 18th through some website at work (I have to do this to get work to pay for my service). When I look up my order on the website with my wireless number, it gives me some crazy order number (0372-XXXXXXXXXX). When I call the 877 number, it can't find my order (with either my phone number or this crazy order number). When I talked to a rep, they gave me a different crazy order number (K008-OY-XXXXXXXX). Since this has letters, can't use it with the 877 automated system either.

Anyone have this experience? I just want my freaking phone.

Yes, I can't even check my order over the 877 number because it can't find my order. I can only check it online and it says "preparing to ship" and "In Progress." It has been this way for weeks.

Same, except I'm on the east coast so 3:45 for me. 10/13 - 10/22 bracket, 877 # stuck on back order. I only call once a day now but always check back here for any progress. Perhaps if I would have cancelled I could have had my phone now, but the longer I wait, the more pointless that seems.

To those of us still waiting this out, hang in there guys. The one thing we all learned is to never pre-order from AT&T ever again.
 
I'm hoping for a surge real soon. There were about 10 planes from Anchorage to Louisville yesterday. many more today. I realize they are not just iPhones, but these are some big aircraft. I know it will take a while to sort and transfer to ATT but here's hoping a lot are headed there.
 
So I have a shipping number from ups but it has zero activity other than a label has been created on 9/27/14. WTF? :apple:
 
I placed my order in store on 9/12 at 6:00 pm and received my confirmation at 6:57pm.

Good luck! Hopefully it ships soon for you. This is not the first AT&T iPhone Preorder debacle that I've been a part of. Last time I canceled my order and purchased through :apple:. This time I have no choice but to wait out the AT&T fun. And, unfortunately, I was not able to order until 9/18 because my company's ordering site/system is horrendous.

My birthday is Thursday. I'm hoping a miracle! :)
 
So I have a 64gb gold plus on reserve at Apple Store. Do I get the gold??????? I have a space grey on pre order that is 10/31-11-11. I am not sure about white face. Argggggg. But I am going to get a case. Should I???? How do I go about canceling my order so it becomes available right away????
 
Depressed in ATL

So, this is becoming quite depressing today...no positive status updates in what, like 2 days? We need some serious movement! I've been lurking since the 12th...my details:
64GB 6+ Sil ordered in store (a requirement of my business acct) at opening (9am) on the 12th, originally told 14-21 days, but via confirmation I'm in the 10/31-11/11 group since day 1. Nada change.

My iPhone 5 is on its last leg as it was dropped in a pool 2 weeks prior to launch and has very limited functionality...so I'm wondering when to give up on this pre-order nightmare and just go settle with a 6...I really cannot wait until 11/11...and ATT is my only option, unfortunately.

Hoping there's some big movement soon, but growing increasingly frustrated and depressed with every redial/refresh today...I know I'm not alone!
 
Hey guys, Can anyone advise me on what to do?
I preordered an iPhone 6 plus but it had a ship date of nov 22 so I tried to cancel it online at release day but it told my cancelation request was denied. I then went into an ATT store to get a normal iPhone 6 at launch and they told me they had no record of my preorder but my att onlinbe profile still had the status of "preparing to ship". They let me go ahead and purchase a normal iPhone through the next program. TODAY, i received an iPhone 6 Plus through FEDEX ! What should i do? Return it to a local ATT store? Can i keep it? :p
 
my local apple store has stock but i would have to take a silver instead of space grey... just don't know if i can do it as badly as i want it

think it through a lot of cases show the face and some dont. I would decide on the case first then go from there. :)

Hmm i think i would make some calls then. but because you ordered through company web site it might be considered a premeir order and that is sposed to be another que which means another department and of course they do no talk to each other. try the busines side
 
Well, it pays to be the CEO I guess...

My phone was ordered by my firm's IT guy through AT&T Business Premier. 17 people ordered 6's (all phones were 64gb) and 4 people ordered 6+'s (again, all 64gb) on 9/15. Everyone has gotten their 6's, but the 4 unlucky employees (me included) who ordered the 6+'s were given the dreaded 11/9-11/27 shipping dates. Been following the tracking info for a while. As of this past Friday, the 6+'s all had the same shipping estimates. I get in to the office this morning and check again...the CEO's 6+ shipped on Saturday and arrived a few hours ago.

Unfortunately, the other 3 6+'s still have the November ship dates. #rantover. Boy do I want my phone to get here! Has anyone else had something similar to this happen to them? All the phones were ordered at the exact same time (to the best of my knowledge).
 
Just spoke to another CSR who informed me that there was an error in my order processing despite the fact that they sent me a confirmation e-mail. They must have fixed the error internally, but my order didn't get processed until the 19th!!!! I ordered as soon as the gates opened (about 20 min after) on the 12th.

Still on the 10/2-10/13 shipping dates but not confident that will happen. Probably going to switch to verizon, sprint, or t-mobile as this is unacceptable to me with no offer to make the situation right. Basically a "sorry boutcha" attitude.

This same exact thing happened to me. It's as if our 9/12 pre-order never existed, and we didn't get in queue until 9/19. I'm with you man... EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED
