Well I went ahead and did it. Just ordered the 6. So I guess I should leave this thread now. Good luck to the rest of you. Hopefully my 6 gets here soon. I might sell it and buy a 6 plus in December as a Christmas gift to myself.

OK, so maybe this is a good sign of something about to happen for a bunch of people. I ordered two phones at the AT&T store shortly after 9:00 am on 9/12. My husband's 6 came on the 19th. I received my confirmation email at 9:26 AM that day (9/12), while we were still standing in the store. From the very beginning, my ship date has always been 10/31-11/11. Like many of you, I call the 877 number more times a day than I would like to admit and check the web site for signs of change. Tonight, I finally got a "being processed" on the 877 number instead of the dreaded back ordered, and about an hour later the web site switched to shipped. I do not have a tracking number yet, and I will feel lots better when I do. But since my shipping promise was later than some who have not received their phones yet, and since it is the 128 GB, I'm thinking all those planes coming in today are bringing a whole lot of phones for us. I'll post again when I get my tracking I am not premier.
PS: As I was typing this, I got my notice. FedEx tomorrow by 3:00 (I live in Michigan)

Just called the 877 number and now it says my order is being processed! Hopefully this means it will ship this week. How long does it usually take to go from processing to shipping?

update 9/30: Phone shipped out of Texas today. Delivery tomorrow. Hopefully everyone gets their phones soon!

Mine processed on Thursday, got it today.. Most got it in a day.. U will have it by We'd.. Man this thing is the greatest. You guys will love it. I have really big hands so it's perfect. Good luck to the rest of you. Hope they all come soon, see guy next year!

Thank you for the hope, i ordered 1130 my time 1030 your time so hopefully I will be right behind you. I just check still on back order but at least 2 people have theirs move which is give the rest of us some more hope.

Feeling the same way. Ordered on 9/12, SG 64GB 6+ at around 5:30AM PST. Got my confirmation at 5:58AM and it still says backordered when I call the 877#.
Right now I'm fighting the urge to call AT&T & just scream "WTF" and hang up. Idk why. I just think it'd be a momentary stress release. Lol.

I did call today and chewed out suposedly 3 levels of supervisors the forth supposedly was at lunch. asked them to explain why people who ordered later than us and the same phone not premier got there phones and we still dont all the could and would do was the bs blanket statement and blame apple. I told them bs apple doesnt control first come first serve. not to mention they request how many phones they want well before production. so apple knows how many to make at the start and i also told them thats why i dont work for att&t anymore. And that they need to get off their butts and read the forums to know what is really happening. I also told them that they are about to lose a lot of customers over this bs. I have been with them cell wise since 1997 and am about to leave. and home phone a lot longer.
hope this makes you feel a little better. I vented for all of us.

something is definately wrong with that. not that calling them will do much but worth a try you might get lucky and get someone who knows what they are doing.
