Someone on the att preorder thread has a shipping status and tracking number for 128g 6+ gold there is hope out there. It is just very slooooooooow.
 
Ordered 6 Plus (128GB) Saturday 27th Sept. Site says 11-5 to 11-14. Ugh. Hope that date slips to the left!

Me too! Same boat here, I ordered through local ATT store. From the looks of it, we will probably get bumped a week or two. I also heard they're having huge shipments on the 2nd and 14th of October I think.
 
How the heck does someone who ordered the same phone two weeks after me have a sooner shipping date than me? Oh AT&T, you are such trolls.

I wouldn't worry about estimated shipping dates. Yours could be old and padded, and maybe now they are giving more accurate shipping dates.
 
Preordered 6+ silver 16g around 3am Est sept 12th
9/30 7:50 AM 877# says being processed
10:15 AM got the "about your AT&T plan" email
10:30 Am got a text it was shipped with tracking info
It said it was leaving fort worth TX and should be here tomorrow by 3
Original delivery dates 10/13-10/22
Hope everyone here gets there phone this week!
 
And how are you seeing this? Looked at apple.com from a south jersey zip code and I found one store, Willow Grove that had Gold(not sure how many). That was it.

I canceled my preorder through att and picked up today in apple 6+ 16gb gold. Thanks att for nothing #

Oh, I'm sure you are correct. I just wish they would update the clearly incorrect date to something accurate so I could stop checking three times a day.
 
It'll probably be longer since I'm sure Apple is retooling the weak part of the phone by the volume buttons.

I totally agree. There has been so much leap-frogging of order shipments vs order dates. I was taught in elementary school not to cut in line. AT&T's processing seems pretty random. If only they would publish their actual algorithm and justification, it would go a long way.

I doubt that. The Consumer Reports testing showed that it really wasn't that weak. That would add cost and weight, and I doubt there is really enough room for them to do much.
 
Whats the point of pre ordering something if you have to see other people who didn't get ahold of it first. It makes no sense and this is not the first time I have seen att screw me over. What sucks is they have so many customers that they really don't care if someone switches or is upset because they have so many other customers. It shouldn't be like that.
