AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

No change in ship date or anything since order. Complete BS. Why do a pre order at all? Makes no sense. Will just order from Apple from here on out and probably Verizon like my ipad. Have never had an issue when ordering Apple direct.

Been reading this forum for days and figured it was my turn to Bi*&^*.

6+ 16gb SG.

5 hours with AT&T Customer Service for them to tell me that cant tell me anything because I ordered from one of their approved AT&T retailers. Yet the guy who took my order tells me that all he did is enter it on the website, which he could have just told me to do in the first place. To rub it in, he text me to tell me he got his phone "so hang in there, I am sure you will have it any day now". Then he tells me calling the 877# every hour moves you up in the queue. I have disproved that theory!

Most likely other countries pre ordered a lot more than what they thought they would need unlike like our chicken s##t carriers who did not preorder from apple a lot more than what they did. Which to me is stupid its not like the phones our going to spoil on the shelf if they ordered to many. for example if att pre orders to apple that they want 1 of each make and model and size that is what apple is goin to make and give them. then if att needs more they go to the end of the line to get more for those over their pre order. so really it does boil down to the carriers fault in not estimating how many of each to preorder.

Still back ordered on my SG 128 +. My shipping still says 10/2 - 10/13, yet people in the 10/13 - 10/22 bracket are getting theirs. Mine will probably ship Friday making me wait those extra days.

I called the 877 number (which does not allow me to check status automatically because of my crazy order numbers), and the girl I talked to knew nothing that the websites didn't know. "Order is In Progress ... it will ship sometime before the iPhone7 AT&T shipping debacle starts."

Not much sense berating some CSR or their supervisor. They don't control the shipping strategy. You could file a BBB complaint, I suppose. Or go on a Twitter rampage. But, it's not worth it to ruin someone's day who has no control.

Whats the point of pre ordering something if you have to see other people who didn't get ahold of it first. It makes no sense and this is not the first time I have seen att screw me over. What sucks is they have so many customers that they really don't care if someone switches or is upset because they have so many other customers. It shouldn't be like that.

So true, and that's just how it is. That's why I root for companies like Tmobile to succeed because, in the American free market competition is always good for customers. The only reason I'm with At&t is because they have nice coverage in my city, but T Mobile is catching up.

I'm getting really tempted to switch back to tmobile. It's not just because of this launch either.

What does taking it out on the poor person that answers the phone do? Nothing, they only know what a computer in front of them says.. Take a breath, you will get your phone. Believe me I'm waiting too and would love for calling a number to do something but it doesn't. So I'm working on the patience virtue

If they gave their CSR's the appropriate knowledge and access to the information that they need to do their jobs, there would be several fewer dissatisfied customers. Add to that that I have received bad/different information every time I have spoken with someone, only makes this whole process more of a nightmare.

I'm in the same boat. The 877 number can't find my order information but I've been stuck on "in progress" and "preparing to ship" online.

thats the problem the bigger they are the less they care and some how they still sleep well at night (i guess lol)

Just an example when I worked for att they had modems that melted. they said any one calls in just send them a new one at no charge (well da i wouldnt charge them for replacing a melted modem anyway) sending them another of the defective modems. I said why are we sending them another of the same modems that melt it could burn their house down. answer is an exceptable loss. so i said it an exceptable loss, even if it kills someone thats an exceptable loss to. answer shrug of the shoulders and said that is the way it is. my answer I quit working for them. sorry but i cannot work for a company with that type of lack of ethics.

Last year I ordered an iPhone 5s three days before launch with AT&T. They promised 4-6 weeks. I got the phone 2 days later.

Not so now. Very disappointing to see such a wait. If I see a million iPhone 6 plus models coming out of an Apple Store in China next month before mine arrives I will have smoke coming out of my ears.

My device was scheduled 11/9 - 11/27. Just shipped, delivery scheduled tomorrow. 6+ SG 64gb

I preordered 9/12 at my local Att store 10:30am central. I had the 1st two preorders of 6+ at store. I ordered 2, 6 plus SG 64gb at same time. Only unit has shipped as of now.

No clue on the Att fulfillment process.

By the way mine shipped out of Texas.

I was at preparing for shipment via online status and back ordered until 8:30pm last night. Checked last night and the 877 number said processing. This morning I checked around 10am and it had shipped.
