Hi all, I wanted to offer a bit of insight, although not sure if I'll make you happy. (Not completely anyway).

I just ordered my 64G + Gold in store on 9/29 around 5pm. While there in store, the manager stated that regular 6's were now at a 24 hour ship rate whereas the 6 plus had unforeseen times that they couldn't access there in store.

Fast forward to this evening, around 9:30 eastern, I call AT&T to check the status of my order, just to be curious. My phone had an 11/9-11/27 delivery period online but my sales rep stated that once the phone SHIPS (most likely tomorrow after two days of processing), I will be receiving the phone in 3-5 business days. Needless to say I'm quite happy about this and even more surprised that I got such exact figures. This means that Apple has been able to distribute stock, meaning that by weeks' end, stores should have some of these phones in and all of you early preorder guys SHOULD get your phone. I have a friend who preordered 9/12, got his shipped email 9/27 and the phone on his doorstep yesterday afternoon (9/29). Although it seems everyone's situation is different, I would say, not much longer guys!

Hope this offered some peace of mind. By the way, I am an AT&T Premier customer with an account that's been active with the company for nearly 15 years.


Just thought I would chime in what about people processing for ten days and no phone. Yay first one in the 400 page I get my phone now right? Right? Oh d*** ok I will keep waiting
 
Hope all these planes flying in are carrying only iphone 6 & 6 pluses. They've got a lotta catching up to do. Especially now that they're opening up to other countries before correcting the problem here. #

I know the 64gb 6+ are shipping but has anyone from att gotten a 128 SG yet? This makes me upset because one of my co workers has verizon and had his shipped to work on the 19th of September around 4pm central time. I have not heard of anyone from att getting any 128gb ones.

I ordered a 128 GB SG 6+ through AT&T haven't received it and haven't seen movement of them. #
 
Cool. I only mentioned my long drawn out experience because I've seen mixed results on here with people wanting it refunded. I was I initially told "no way possible" through the first outlet where they were willing to help cancel my account for me rather than do it and the second one (on the phone) really put up no fight before doing it. Maybe not all numbers/chat lines can do it but anyone who says they can't either isn't the right person to talk to or is lying.

I understand it also depends on the information or should i say disinformation put out to the reps. and of course how stricked the reps supervisor is at allowing it. sometimes you do just have to hang up and start with a new rep. the first rep i talked to said she did not have much leeway but would refund one of the two upgrade fees because i said why am i paying an upgrade fee when i wasnt on a contract. today called about the other fee being on my bill when i do not even have the phone yet. she looked at the account and said oh yes i can remove that fee. later when i check the bill on line i am not sure not sure what this rep was thinking she waived 79 dollars and some cents and another waiver for 29 dollars and some cents. she only needed to waive 40. I will just pay my normal bill. and see what happens tired of calling them. lol:)

Well I found out that an Apple Store not to far from me has 6+ in 128gb.. However I can not yet order to pick up in the store because now I must wait till 7am to call and cancel my preorder! :( because I'm not eligible till they do! .. But they will gladly allow me to pick it up in store for $950 full retail.. Ugh at this point I don't care what color it is and I orginally ordered a 64Gb but for an hour out of my way I can go and get my phone tomorrow.. Of course I'm sure when I wake up in the am and call,it will have changed to shipped and not be able to cancel! Lol it'd be just my luck

I've waited this long. I'm not giving up now.

My original delivery date was 10-14

It moved to 10/2-10/13.

Now there are people who ordered after me that got their device already, but the dates were posted on my order when I ordered.

Watch the consumer reports video of them testing both to help you deside. :)

The 6 is actually "flimsier" than the 6+ according to consumer reports...however neither are actually flimsy.
 
none taken. and I wasnt being smart. as you order: it asks for store pickup. and it has a spot to check store availablity in the app. I was going to do it but the store near me has none of the phones available so I did not continue.

I understand you were just trying to help, that's why I edited my post. I've ordered stuff from the Apple store online before and picked it up. I know you can check the availability but you can't add the phone to your cart or pay for it in any way unless you enter your info and go through At&t's crap system to check your eligibility.

From there I only have two choices, a new two year contract or add another line, neither of which I want to do. It won't let you do next online. I know everyone's situation is different but that unfortunately is mine. I'm hoping that my Apple store allows me to do what's quoted below in bold. I don't care about paying full price, that's all I wanted to do from the beginning.

I spoke to a premier CSR today and I asked him why people who ordered after me have earlier estimated ship times than me (ordered 9/12. Ship dates 11/9-11/27). He said that he thinks it's because I ordered two phones (mind you he said it was his best guess). He also mentioned that my dates could just be inflated to cover their ass (as if we already didn't know). Wasn't very helpful but was a nice guy so I didn't want to give him a hard time.

I got a 128 SG this past Thursday from AT&T. Ordered about 2:05 CST. I believe a good amount of this make went out last week. As I'm sure you've seen by now, the websites don't update much, but the 877# is a good barometer of where you stand.
 
Big delimma

Hey guys need some help here, A bit of background first: I had 3 6+s on 2 yr contract, 2 were early upgrades, 1 new line. Given ATT current promo, I wanted to give uo my unlimited plan and switch to 30gb with NEXT. Went to apple store returned and re-purchased 2 phones with NEXT but the 3rd one, which is a new add on line, Apple employee returned it but cudnt re-purchase it because they cant do NEXT for add-a-line. Only ATT can do that, teh apple store employee walked to ATT store with me to find a way but ATT rep said order at ATT store and wait till Nov :(

Anyways, do I have any other choice to get the phone early, If I keep checking ATT store 6+ inventory, do tehy allow instore pickup?

Any advice appreciated:confused:
 
Still waiting Order # starts with 1626. SG 128gb 6+ ordered 12:45am non premier. 10/2 - 10/13 delivery date. If no movement by 10/2 I'm canceling and picking up at an apple store. They are getting them in every day. I really don't care about color at this point. I would switch to Verizon but the 30gb of data for what I was paying for 15gb is looking pretty good and Verizon doesn't have that option....

My $40 fee is now showing up on my bill, $40 for a phone that I am still waiting for. I am seriously getting pissed!:mad:

You mentioned before that they would allow you to pick it up full retail. Did the Apple store tell you this?

Some phones are showing up a few locations in my city and I'm tempted to try and get one. Also, how did you reserve it since they don't open until 10:00AM?

Did you call then yesterday or or you talking about just buying it online with a new contract and you're going to pick it up?

I'm not sure I can do it since I'm premier, I've heard it's harder.
