China orders better not be shipped before ours. It would only be fair. So hoping before October 17th we all have our phones.
 
How do you reserve a phone with the Apple store? Is there a deposit you have to make with them? I'm just asking because the phone I wanted (128GB Gold) was available at an Apple store in my area.

I was never able to get through to the store in time before someone grabbed it, but wanted to know how to reserve it just in case anymore become available.





I'm here and just saw that. I'd like to jump on it also but I'm weary of taking the chance. I wanted to know how to reserve it before canceling. I've already missed out once and don't want to push myself back further. Man I hate having to go through all this. I wish I could just buy it outright without dealing with At&t and their stupid contracts!

I walked in and talked to the greeter. He got the "reservation phone", and looked up their stock. Once we confirmed there were two 128G phones, he issued me a reservation that got texted to my phone. No cost or commitment. I got issued the reservation at 530pm, and was told it was good until 9pm, which was awesome, in case it took some time for my AT&T Next eligibility to return. So even in the event AT&T wouldn't cancel my order or something I could just cancel the reservation and go back to waiting for my preorder.

All I can say if you find the stock available, go to the store, ask for a reservation while you call AT&T...you might get lucky and find stock.
 
Has anyone on this forum received a 6+ 128GB SG and what were your order times and were you premier or not? Just trying to figure out a method to this madness since 6+ 64GB are being shipped out with order dates as late as Sept. 18th.

Haven't seen any movement since about 3ish est.
 
iPhone 6+ SG 64 ordered early the 19th been in backorder hell on the 877 number ever since. At this point I only check it once maybe twice a day, I've just really soured on the whole experience. I'm completely disappointed in Apple and AT&T.

I'm not even calling it anymore just been checking my delivery manager on fedex. I'm tired of it saying processing
 
Well 128gb silver and golds are showing up at my local apple stores I might need to cancel my black 6+ and settle for gold or silver :(
 
Long time lurker, made an account just to post.

I originally placed my order for a 6+ 64GB SG through ATT Premier on 9/12 at 7:30 AM and received my confirmation email. It told me that I should expect my phone between 10/32-11/11. I was disappointed by this and mentally prepared myself for the wait. I called the 877 number just about every day to see if there was a change in shipment processing. None, it said back ordered. On 9/26 I received a shipment notification from ATT via text. Last night (9/29) I received my phone and I couldn't be more surprised. I've been reading that people that ordered before me still havent gotten their phones. I hope they come out to you guys soon. Not sure if having a Best Buy corporate FAN Premier account has anything to do with, but I never called customer service or anything.

I seen on this forum earlier today that someone who ordered 2 6+ 64GB on the 18th had gotten shipped notification and attached a document of the order status as proof. I would have to believe yours is soon.

I ordered on the 14th for the same phone, and put in the 11/9-11/27 hole, so I can sympathize with your disappointment.

Your waiting on a plane to pick it up and most of us in here ordered from att. You might be on one of the six coming in tonight also.

i got both of mine waived off the 611 number :)

Cool. I only mentioned my long drawn out experience because I've seen mixed results on here with people wanting it refunded. I was I initially told "no way possible" through the first outlet where they were willing to help cancel my account for me rather than do it and the second one (on the phone) really put up no fight before doing it. Maybe not all numbers/chat lines can do it but anyone who says they can't either isn't the right person to talk to or is lying.
 
Hi all, I wanted to offer a bit of insight, although not sure if I'll make you happy. (Not completely anyway).

I just ordered my 64G + Gold in store on 9/29 around 5pm. While there in store, the manager stated that regular 6's were now at a 24 hour ship rate whereas the 6 plus had unforeseen times that they couldn't access there in store.

Fast forward to this evening, around 9:30 eastern, I call AT&T to check the status of my order, just to be curious. My phone had an 11/9-11/27 delivery period online but my sales rep stated that once the phone SHIPS (most likely tomorrow after two days of processing), I will be receiving the phone in 3-5 business days. Needless to say I'm quite happy about this and even more surprised that I got such exact figures. This means that Apple has been able to distribute stock, meaning that by weeks' end, stores should have some of these phones in and all of you early preorder guys SHOULD get your phone. I have a friend who preordered 9/12, got his shipped email 9/27 and the phone on his doorstep yesterday afternoon (9/29). Although it seems everyone's situation is different, I would say, not much longer guys!

Hope this offered some peace of mind. By the way, I am an AT&T Premier customer with an account that's been active with the company for nearly 15 years.
 
I know the 64gb 6+ are shipping but has anyone from att gotten a 128 SG yet? This makes me upset because one of my co workers has verizon and had his shipped to work on the 19th of September around 4pm central time. I have not heard of anyone from att getting any 128gb ones.
 
I've picked up stuff before that way and know about that. That won't work because you can't buy the phones outright right now unless you can get a tmobile phone. You either have to sign a new two-year contract or Next (the latter of which you can't do online).

If it were that easy I would have had a phone two weeks ago.

none taken. and I wasnt being smart. as you order: it asks for store pickup. and it has a spot to check store availablity in the app. I was going to do it but the store near me has none of the phones available so I did not continue.
