Online Status Isn't anything special to go by, its all about the 877 number. One that changes you will then see a change online usually within 24 hrs
The status on the 877 # is what you should go by. The online status "in progress" means nothing. If the 877 # is still telling you backordered, you're probably not going to see your phone tomorrow.

I'm hoping to have the phones before we go. Watch they will come when we leave haha in two weeks

I think I will just let go of any expectations of getting it prior to the last date of my shipping window (10/2-10/13). Maybe that will help with some of the frustration.

I remember reading earlier in this thread that a CSR told someone that they were expecting a large shipment of phones to go out on 10/2 and 10/14. I'm hoping that they've got their hands full getting ready for tomorrow and that's why there hasn't been a ton of movement...hopefully tomorrow our prayers will be answered! I'm not counting on it though...still stuck in the dreaded end of November group...

I didn't. I have several times in the past and they have given me the same 10/2 - 10/13 estimate as the website shows and not an ounce of additional information. Didn't see the need to waste my time...

Long time lurker here and I finally decided to post. So is this big shipment only for 10/2 - 10/13? I've been stuck in 11/9-11/27 since I ordered.
A tip for those of you who might not know. If you already have a nano sim from a previous phone, it will work in the new Iphone 6+.
While I was at the Apple store, the At&t rep who I was on the phone with overheard me talking to the Apple rep about trying my sim card in the new Iphone. She said it wouldn't work and the iphone is different. That didn't sound right, because I had used the same sim card in several Android phones and even an Iphone 5S. From my understanding, a sim card is a sim card, you just have to have the right size, and even then you can use adapters.
When I got home and tried it, it worked, no calling or activating. Data, phone calls, everything works.
