I just talked to a CSR and he also confirmed the big shipment tomorrow. I asked him if the shipment might contain some of the November shipping date phones and he said he had no clue :confused:

I bet that's why we haven't seen any shipped phones the last three days all those planes are for tomorrow here is to hoping
 
I'll be glad when you all receive your phones. I got mine at the Apple store today but, I'm going to hang around a little more. At&t didn't cancel mine for some reason, so I might still be getting one. If I do I'll just sell it and pay off my next contract (if that is indeed what I have to do).

For those of you who can't wait ( i know this isn't everyone) i would also suggest trying to get one if the Apple store if don't mind the hassle. The Apple store is cool but, At&t is really bad as far as getting something done. It almost seems like they don't want to cancel your order now.

I've called them twice including today, and was never rude or acted upset. They had me on hold for almost an hour, just trying to restore my upgrade eligibility. I did cancel twice, one pre order and one regular order, so that may have something to do with it, but i still don't understand why. Maybe their system is just still bogged down.
 
More planes

7 more planes slated for arrival into Louisville between 12am and 2am EDT. These past few days has seen a lot of traffic from China to the states according to this

Let's hope AT&T wasn't lying and will ship a **** ton of phones tomorrow.
 
Cancelled my 11/9-11/27 128 Silver, Got it at Apple

I did my usual morning routine, check the 877#, check the online status, check the threads, check the Apple store. And shocker, they had my phone in stock 15 minutes from my house. I quickly ordered it, paying retail. But in my excitement I got the 16gb instead of the 64 or 128 I wanted. I tried to exchange it (within 2 minutes of ordering), and couldn't. Apple on the phone tried to get Apple retail to hold since it would be an exchange. Retail couldn't so I went down there. Waiting in line 1 hr, got my reservation for the 128!! Came back several hours later, did the exchange and walked out with phone. No problem canceling with ATT because although I ordered at 2 pm on 9/12 launch date, apparently I was NO where near close to getting my phone. So, I'm going to set it up now, but wanted to give update. Can't say to "hang-in there, it will come," because I'm so disgusted with ATT. Going to pay the balance of my obligation on other Next phone line and will move carriers as soon as I can. Well, that's the end of my drama. Never again, ATT.
 
I ordered my 6plus Silver 64GB on 9/12 around 8 pm PST in store while my gf ordered the 6plus Gold 64GB on the ATT website an hour before me. We both got the 11/9-11/27 ship date. But out of nowhere my gfs phone shipped out on Sunday and received it yesterday while my status is still unchanged.

Also a coworker of mine had a ship date of end of october/early november and had his shipped out last Friday and received it on Monday. But his was the silver 16gb.

I really dont understand the way ATT handles their stock and shipping irder

Okay group! Hopefully tomorrow is the day for us with 10/02 to 10/13 shipping times. I have enjoyed reading and contributing. If any of you do get action tomorrow, don't forget about the rest of us. Please update us. It has definitely helped knowing that I'm not the only one with shipping issues. I know there are more important things in life, God, family, etc. But, this crazy wait will make receiving the phone all the more exciting. I personally know I will appreciate the phone more. That's the problem with mega companies, no CSR or manager we talk to will ever be the one directly responsible for this debacle. Big companies will never care or have the accountability like if it was a small locally owned company. Att is the ONLY game in town for me, so I shall wait and continue to be subservient.

Don't take no for an answer. The rep I spoke with started to tell me that and I stopped him cold and told him not to bother as I knew of scads of people on forums who had successfully cancelled at the exact same point I was ("In Progress on the site, "Backordered" at 877).

And then "magically" he not only cancelled it but my upgrade eligibility was restored instantly.

A tip for those of you who might not know. If you already have a nano sim from a previous phone, it will work in the new Iphone 6+.

While I was at the Apple store, the At&t rep who I was on the phone with overheard me talking to the Apple rep about trying my sim card in the new Iphone. She said it wouldn't work and the iphone is different. That didn't sound right, because I had used the same sim card in several Android phones and even an Iphone 5S. From my understanding, a sim card is a sim card, you just have to have the right size, and even then you can use adapters.

When I got home and tried it, it worked, no calling or activating. Data, phone calls, everything works.

Yup. Popped the SIM from my 5 into my 6+ and it worked without issue. I didn't see any message claiming that I wouldn't have access to certain functionality as others reported when switching SIMS...
 
Gave up this morning and went and picked one up from the apple store. Called to cancel and the guy told me he cannot cancel online orders, two minutes later he canceled it for me. Thanks AT&T!:rolleyes:

No change in ship date or anything since order. Complete BS. Why do a pre order at all? Makes no sense. Will just order from Apple from here on out and probably Verizon like my ipad. Have never had an issue when ordering Apple direct.

I'm in the same boat. Same iPhone, same dates. Same frustration.

FWIW I got my order in before pre sale started and was in the 10/2 group.

I just searched for an iPhone 6+ 128 GB in Missouri's Apple stores and there's none.

Has anyone in Missouri gotten a phone?!
 
There has been next to no movement in last 5 -6 days or so. Dispite 5-7 planes coming in each day. I really think ATT is stock piling these and are going to do a big release tomorrow. Technically (in their eyes, they will be staying true to their release date)

Why could they not send them out tonight so we get them on 10/2 instead of 10/3?

Just spoke with a CSR, he stated that I should ignore the 877# status. All he could see was my phone order has been sent to the warehouse and the carrier would be FedEx. When I told him that I was following forums on shipping and that orders behind mind with the same make and model have been delivered he was genuinely astounded. I have him what info I could and said he would personally contact me with update info later tonight. Not holding my breath though.
