I just talked to a CSR and he also confirmed the big shipment tomorrow. I asked him if the shipment might contain some of the November shipping date phones and he said he had no clue![]()
I did my usual morning routine, check the 877#, check the online status, check the threads, check the Apple store. And shocker, they had my phone in stock 15 minutes from my house. I quickly ordered it, paying retail. But in my excitement I got the 16gb instead of the 64 or 128 I wanted. I tried to exchange it (within 2 minutes of ordering), and couldn't. Apple on the phone tried to get Apple retail to hold since it would be an exchange. Retail couldn't so I went down there. Waiting in line 1 hr, got my reservation for the 128!! Came back several hours later, did the exchange and walked out with phone. No problem canceling with ATT because although I ordered at 2 pm on 9/12 launch date, apparently I was NO where near close to getting my phone. So, I'm going to set it up now, but wanted to give update. Can't say to "hang-in there, it will come," because I'm so disgusted with ATT. Going to pay the balance of my obligation on other Next phone line and will move carriers as soon as I can. Well, that's the end of my drama. Never again, ATT.

A tip for those of you who might not know. If you already have a nano sim from a previous phone, it will work in the new Iphone 6+.
While I was at the Apple store, the At&t rep who I was on the phone with overheard me talking to the Apple rep about trying my sim card in the new Iphone. She said it wouldn't work and the iphone is different. That didn't sound right, because I had used the same sim card in several Android phones and even an Iphone 5S. From my understanding, a sim card is a sim card, you just have to have the right size, and even then you can use adapters.
When I got home and tried it, it worked, no calling or activating. Data, phone calls, everything works.

No change in ship date or anything since order. Complete BS. Why do a pre order at all? Makes no sense. Will just order from Apple from here on out and probably Verizon like my ipad. Have never had an issue when ordering Apple direct.
Gave up this morning and went and picked one up from the apple store. Called to cancel and the guy told me he cannot cancel online orders, two minutes later he canceled it for me. Thanks AT&T!![]()
There has been next to no movement in last 5 -6 days or so. Dispite 5-7 planes coming in each day. I really think ATT is stock piling these and are going to do a big release tomorrow. Technically (in their eyes, they will be staying true to their release date)

Just spoke with a CSR, he stated that I should ignore the 877# status. All he could see was my phone order has been sent to the warehouse and the carrier would be FedEx. When I told him that I was following forums on shipping and that orders behind mind with the same make and model have been delivered he was genuinely astounded. I have him what info I could and said he would personally contact me with update info later tonight. Not holding my breath though.
Good luck, hope a phone is at the warehouse to go with the order. And what delivery date bucket are you in?
I am in the October 2nd to October 13th ship dates. But people forget that the 13th is Columbus Day.
