AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

I've been following this and hoping for all of you who pre-ordered to get your phones because I could not order until the 26th and I'm worried the 7s will be out by the time I get my 6+ 64GB Silver.

I just saw on the AT&T Wireless forum that a couple people who had ship dates of 9/23-10/2 had their status changed to backordered today, on 10/2.

This is not good.
 
I couldn't take it any more. For the last 4 days the apple store has had iPhone 6 plus 128GB phones. I just called and cancelled my preorder, and will be purchasing one from there. Even if it takes me a week, I will have it faster than waiting until 11/5-11/14 to ship. This has to be the worst presell I've ever seen occur. I can understand having lower supply on initial launch to drive demand, but this is absolutely insane. And to make things worse, AT&T has somehow managed to making a bad situation worse. If I didn't loathe android so much, I would just get a samsung phone. I wish all of you luck on receiving your pre-orders.

It's not I bought a total of 5 of them 2 for me and the other 3 are for friends that gave me their info to buy them. I got them from the Apple Store to pick up here in So Cal
 
Still debating on canceling my order with att and going direct with apple.. But if I do this I am switching to tmoble and getting rid of my grandfathered unlimited plan....

Order on 9/15
6+ 128 space gray.

I order same phone same date, and they have that phone at 3 apple stores in NYC right now. Witch I won't be back at my apt till tomorrow ahhhh! And I just called the 866 number and it says I CANT cancel my order at this time?!?. I'm just so annoyed with all this

Where did the 10 million phones go and what's slowef them down?!

Since I can't get out right without a hefty ETF I will be staying with att until the ETF is low enough to feel comfortable. Been with ATT for a long time, but I am fed up with how this has gone down.

Yes it was his secretary. I had personal dealings with him two years ago and spoke several times on phone. You know I may be 82 but I'm not senile. If you are implying I need therapy I don't think so.

I've had my phone for a day and really like it, and I'm glad I went to the Apple store. It was a pain to get my account straightened out but they finally returned my upgrade eligibility.

The guy at the Apple store said I could return my phone and re-buy it through the Next plan when my upgrade was restored.

Just for info I got the 128GB Gold 6 plus. I originally ordered the 64GB 6+ on 9/12 but then canceled my preorder. I reordered again on 9/20 and canceled that order yesterday after I bought my phone at the Apple store.

At first I was telling people to wait but, now I would say, if you can find an Apple store in your area that has the phone you want, go for it. I think the only reason I had an issue is because I canceled twice. Just make sure you can reserve the phone before you cancel.

I am a 9/12 pre order. Talked to a Rep and was told not to expect my phone before October 13th. My email states my shipping window is 10/2 to 10/13. He said ATT inventory is BONEDRY.

I just tried chatting online with two different ATT reps. Gave 1 all my information and then when i asked the status of my iPhone 6 Plus he said he couldn't help me and was transferring me. Instead he ended the chat session.

I take twenty deep breaths and try again.

The next rep logs on and ends the chat immediately.

Are you kidding me ATT?

Si if I can cancel my pre-order through Apple ( I upgraded with ATT Next) it'll be a hassle to get my eligibility upgrade back?
 
So things seem to have come to a screeching halt. No AT&T shipments, and now all the Apple Stores in the DFW area seem to also be out of stock.

Strange things are afoot ...

Yep, I live Arlington, and it seems that North Texas has been completely left out of iPhone shipments.

Yep, I shudder to think I am possibly going to do the Note 4 this time around. Don't know that I can actually bring myself to do that, but I am thinking about it.
 
I wonder why the tech community isn't up in arms in our defense. You don't hear a word from CNET, BGR, IMORE etc. i guess since they have their devices that they really don't care about their customer base either.

Probably because it is old news now. Or because they don't want to get banned like that german mag did.

This, don't want to get on Apple's bad side, the sites keep touting the 6 expanding into all these other countries and now China, while those of us in the US still can't get one we ordered 3 weeks ago.
