Picked up a silver 6+ 128 last night at the Apple store through Next. Cancelled my preorder through AT&T on Wednesday and got the phone last night. Ship date never changed from 11/9-11/27. If you have the ability and patience, you can get one.
 
Dont get it

So it looks like all of those planes this week were for everyone but us. Walmart started selling SG and Gold yesterday, so I am assuming that Apple wanted to make sure the they had plenty. Funny how you try and show loyalty to AT&T by ordering with them and they could care less. Doesn't matter if you leave, doesn't matter if they have to credit you, they don't care. The reality is Apple is getting their phones out their enough to keep it from being a real news story. We sit here continuing to wait as our blood pressure rises on an hourly/daily basis with no hope in sight. The promise of a mass shipment got us all through the week, but here we sit on Friday morning and I have not seen anyone on this forum post that they got their phone. I just dont get it. They have the phones, we showed that we were the people that wanted them the most and Apple and AT&T and have showed us, THEY JUST DONT CARE!!

But I'm guessing the dates are correct.

This is my 4th go around with AT&T and iPhone "pre-sales".

The shipping times are always crappy for online and in-store "pre-orders."

It is highly annoying when you are waiting patiently for your order to ship...days....weeks...months....and the people who go to the store on release day start posting pictures of their pretty new iPhones.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
And yes.. it will happen.

AT&T already has your (and my money) in their pockets... So they will use in-stock merchandise to boost sale's reports. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Agreed. There must have been in excess of 21 + plans that have left this week, and barely any news of anyone receiving their +'s. I don't even pay attention to the flight trackers no more. Maybe we'll get our phones before the end of the year, the least they could do is gift wrap it for us.
 
We bitch and complain cause this situation sucks but as soon as we get the notification that it has shipped we will be giddy to get our hands on them and forget about all this wait

Trust me I won't be forgetting this flop anytime soon. And if I end up pre-ordering through AT&T next time around, someone just take me out of my misery and shoot me in the face.

I'm not having fun! I'm pissed! It was fun 2 weeks ago when I was expecting my phone to arrive on the 19th. :(

Oh come on it is a little fun yesterday I was pissed today I cant seem to care just remember youll get your phone soon and youll be able to make fun of all the android users again
 
Received my phone on 9/26. Just wanted to let everyone know that waiving my upgrade fee was like pulling teeth...

Ben: I don't believe AT&T honored that.
Ben: I have been an AT&T customer for quite some time, even before my current account I had an AT&T "Go-Phone" for 2 years prior to signing up with a contract.
Ben: I rarely have anything to complain about with AT&T and have never requested that my upgrade fee be waived in the past.
Jamilah Davis: Okay, just to clarify, you would like the fee waived because your phone was on a delayed delivery?
Ben: Yes. I would like the fee waived because AT&T failed to notify me of any delay in the delivery of my phone.
Jamilah Davis: I completely understand Ben! I know how important it is to have your phone right on time. Let me check with my support and see if we can have that done right now :)

Jamilah Davis: I will go ahead and get that credited for you today Ben. Just be advised that there is a $40 fee at the time of every upgrade. Hopefully next time you would not have to wait as long though. Again, I am very sorry that you had to go through this.
