Received my phone on 9/26. Just wanted to let everyone know that waiving my upgrade fee was like pulling teeth...

Ben: I do.
Ben: I also understand the outstanding demand for the phone that I ordered.
Jamilah Davis: Okay, can you explain to me what went wrong?
Ben: However, I was told by several chat representatives that I would receive my phone on 9/19.
Ben: I know of several people that ordered their phones after I did and received theirs before I got mine.
Ben: I was advised by AT&T that the pre-order for the iPhone 6/6+ was on a first come, first serve basis.
Ben: I don't believe AT&T honored that.
Ben: I have been an AT&T customer for quite some time, even before my current account I had an AT&T "Go-Phone" for 2 years prior to signing up with a contract.
Ben: I rarely have anything to complain about with AT&T and have never requested that my upgrade fee be waived in the past.
Jamilah Davis: Okay, just to clarify, you would like the fee waived because your phone was on a delayed delivery?
Ben: Yes. I would like the fee waived because AT&T failed to notify me of any delay in the delivery of my phone.
Jamilah Davis: I completely understand Ben! I know how important it is to have your phone right on time. Let me check with my support and see if we can have that done right now 🙂

Jamilah Davis: I will go ahead and get that credited for you today Ben. Just be advised that there is a $40 fee at the time of every upgrade. Hopefully next time you would not have to wait as long though. Again, I am very sorry that you had to go through this.
Ben: I'm just glad I'm not still waiting along with a few other folks that ordered when I did.
