Who's warehouse are they referring to? And, really, who lives closest?![]()
People who already got their phones they live closest, and we people who has no clue when we will be getting ours live farthest. ATT rep has no clue on 6+ shipping.

So, when I placed my order 3 weeks ago I was charged $153 for the tax on 2 phones. Obvi, that charge fell off. For various reasons I used a card that I don't like to keep money on. So, I chatted up ATT and asked them WTF why can't you just charge me already so I am not leaving money on a card I don't like to use... I got the usual blah blah blah. It would just be nice to not have to worry about that aspect. Anyone know what happens if by some miracle they go to ship the phones and can't charge a card?? Will I have a chance to transfer money or is it immediately to the back of the line for me?? ugh
They will charge the card either after the phone ships or is delivered. they took the money out of my account a couple of days after my mom's was delivered to her.
I have the answer guys!
After speaking to a rep she informed me of the way shipping is being handled.
If you live closer to a warehouse. You will receive your phone faster than someone who lives farther from the warehouse.

This is my two cents on the situation. I've been following this thread for awhile even before planning on ordering the iPhone 6+ Black 64GB. I ordered my on 10/16 with a shipping date estimate on 11/25- 12/5. Honestly, the last iPhone I owned was the 4. Although I've had an iPad 2 and a mini. But I just felt a needed a bigger screen size, and android provided that. Point is, I ordered it because of the new 30GB data plan att offered. But as much as I want to get my hands on the Plus, honestly I'm not in a hurry. And although I understand that you want to get what you bought, patience is key. I bet there are about 10-20 people here that actually need the phone because their current device is about to die or not functioning properly. We have become an inpatient society. We want things now, and when we are prompted to wait, we get irritated. Most of us knew, that there was going to be a backorder problem with this redisigned device, specially with the Plus, which was a new game for Apple and not knowing how it was going to sell, it was expected to be less produced than the regular. Let's all have patience, enjoy our daily lives and when u get that email that your phone has been shipped, celebrate. Hope you guys have a great day and, well, I'll keep following this post. It's very interesting.
P.S my buddy in Orlando pre ordered his iPhone 6+ 64 Black on 9/15 and got a shipping g date of 11/3-/11/10 turns out that his shipped two days ago. That's almost two to three weeks in advance so hopefully we start seeing more movement on AT&T
Thanks. Will try doing that. But I still need my phone. I am a developer for iOS i am waiting to test my app on the phone.at AT&T
Hi, I ordered a 6+ 128GB Gold on 9/12 @ 8am EST. My shipping estimate is 10/31-11/11. ATT put a hold on my account the next day, then it dropped off after 3 days. However, today $84 was taken from my account. Is this a good sign that my phone will be delivered soon? The order status page and the 866 number has not been updated.
One thing you have to keep in mind re: the 5S launch vs. the 6&6+ launch is that the 5S was based on a chassis that already existed in the iPhone 5. There wasn't much change to the production process necessary. Even most of the production process for the 5C was similar to the 5. The 6 and 6+ however is a whole new ball game.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending anyone. But I don't think you can compare the two launches as the production requirements are very different.
You're kidding me right?
In other news, was reading an article on Cnet regarding Apple's 4th QT earnings:
______________________________________________________________
Cook said iPhone 6 and 6 Plus demand "is far outstripping supply," and it could stay that way through the end of the calendar year.
"It's unclear, looking at the data, when supply will catch up with demand," Cook said on a conference call. "It's clear, as of today ... we're not even close. We're not even on the same planet."

Awesome, so not even Tim Cook knows when we'll be getting our phones.
It says being processed with an expected shipdate of 10/31-11/11.. ughh...Call the 877 # and see what it tells you. (877-782-8870).

It's a good sign. You may expect shipping tracking within 24 hours.

That's all nice and dandy but you placed your order less than a week ago. Talk to me when 12/5 comes around and you haven't heard squat about your order, like many of us now.
The difference here being that many of were up in the middle of night to pre-order a phone we thought we would have received by now. Many, many of us are indeed patient, we've waited all the way up to our estimated shipping dates, and guess what. Many of us are now here, and tomorrow is the end of our shipping window (est: 10/13 - 10/22), guess what happens then? No one knows, not even Tim Cook himself, which he shared with investors during a Quarterly earnings report two days ago. They too forecasts that iPhone supplies will be constrained well into next year with no clue as to when supply will catch up with demand.
The way things are going, and with such a huge backlog in orders yet to be fulfilled and the estimated rollout of the device to a total of 112 Countries by the end of the year, I'm willing to put money that you or anyone with an estimated late Nov - Dec shipping window will not even see their phones this year, unless you end up switching carriers, because apparently AT&T is the ugly step child out of all of them.
Now I'm sorry if I came out a bit harsh, but many of us here share the same frustration, understandably so, since we've been patient enough to wait over a month + for a "pre-ordered" device that no one has a clue when we'll receive at this point. If we begin to get pushed back (which is almost guaranteed at this point), it most certainly means that all other orders after us will be pushed well into next year as well.
At the end of the day I think we all learned a valuable lesson that we should have known from previous launches, and that's never to pre-order from AT&T ever again.
