I Preordered on the 12th of september
I asked and was reassured TWICE that my separate shipping address would be fine.

Well, AT&T attempted to ship my iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray to me today. And CANCELLED THE ORDER because the alternate shipping address. They thought I was trying to commit fraud. No verification email or call, just complete cancellation of the order

My choices... move to the end of the line. Since Ashleigh from AT&T told me I would have to wait 30 days because my phone would not be made until it was ordered.

Order cancelled. I am switching to Sprint

AT&T has not ceased to amaze me over the last couple of months. I thought I heard it all. Now Apple doesn't build your phone until you order it? LOL.
 
So, ATT has lost my 128 silver entirely. It was delivered to the store, but they can't find it. I had to reorder today. Bright side? I'll be able to tell yall what the ship date ranges are.....once they finish cancelling my order and put in a new order for me.

My kids and I are doing an over under betting pool for 10 December for when I actually get it.

It's official, just received the shipping confirmation email.

Hang in there to everyone else waiting on their phones. **** blows hard, but it will all be over soon! :D
 
If anyone is interested I a lot of targets in Northern California have 16 gb 6 plus in gold and silver for att for some reason
 
oh no way! You need to call higher up the food chain come Monday! They need to over night you a phone from where ever they can get one.

I thought I was pissed with USPS and my Saturday delivery (NOT) but for the store to have lost your phone! I would have a credit on my acct and a phone in my hand come Tues the 28th!

I don't see a phone in hand on Tuesday happening, but I'm hoping for a credit at least. I'm waiting for a call back from a manager. He called me while I was on the phone with nice lady Linda, and we made arrangements to speak after she and I were done, and now we are playing phone tag. I think I deserve a bit of credit after all the drama I have had with that freeking store.

Nope, it's a real store. Where I live, my address won't verify properly, so ATT has to ship to a corporate store because they won't ship to my house. Normally, you would be absolutely correct though. That's the reason I always have to order in store - they won't ship to my house.

I ordered my phone at a corporate store on 9/12 and they gave me the option to have sent the store or sent to the house. I chose to have it sent to my house, but they gave me the option.
 
2 out of 3 of my 64gb SGs have shipped on the 24th and this morning (25th). The 3rd one that hasn't shipped is mine... T__T at least it's moving.

ordered 9/12 12pm @ at&t store with 11/9-11/27 ship dates.
 
Got shipping notice tonight on mine. Nice of them to ship it the slowest way possible. Won't be here till Thursday.

I ordered 9/23, online, 128g SG, est. ship dates 10/31-11/11...wonder why such a difference between online and in-store orders...?

I ordered online on the 13th and have a 11/9-11/27 ship estimate but those numbers don't mean anything as we have seen.
 
I'm still waiting to reorder (they have to do some backend crap to reestablish my eligibility and mark the phone as lost in transit), but ATT is paying my bill this month, so I'm satisfied with the outcome. I'll report the news when I have a new shipping date, just for those who might be curious about what lead times look like.
 
No gold 64's in sight....


Woah, I got really behind. Hopefully this is all correct, haven't had much time so I was scrambling a bit to get it done. Mine went to processing this morning.

Happened to me last night... they were updating the system. My orders returned with no updates.:(



I mentioned this a few pages back but have not seen a response. Has anyone seen their 877 automated response change from Backordered to "We're sorry, we were unable to locate your order". So bizzare that it would be able to locate my order for a month and then all of a sudden change to an error message. I talked to a CSR who mirrored what the premiere and non-premiere wireless order status pages say (preorder processing and 11/9-11/27).
 
IT has FINALLY Shipped

Just got the email, with tracking.
The iPhone 6+ 128 gb SC is on its way to me as of right now... I will not see it till wednesday, but at least it has finally begun the journey!
It shipped via USPS out of Memphis.

I will continue to keep in eye on the thread, It almost feels like 6th grade camp, ya know you really did not want to be there, but once it got near the end, you started to begin to miss the whole experience...... Like this thread! lol

Keep in mind, the top of that 64GB Gold list is 9/19 at the earliest, from what I am seeing on the AT&T forum thread, some in the 9/15 - 9/16 range are shipping.
 
First time post, long time sufferer:
Ordered 6 Plus SG 64GB on 09/20 in AT&T store, and got estimate of 10/29-11/07. All have I'm a FAN customer, which means I get a monthly discount through the union at my job.
I did email Stephenson last week and hubby said they called his line to apologize and offered to have us call after we get the phone to "see what they can do to make up for the delay". Yeah...right.
Anyway, the phone was ordered combined with a new line for our teen, and would have the 6+ swapped to my hubby's line so that my teen can have my hubby's 5. Hubby gave me his upgrade (I had a battery crazy 4s) because my line can't until Nov.
Well, things changed so we wonder if we would be able to cancel the line but keep the 6+ we ordered for it if we call retention and ask to move the upgrade date up on my line to use for my husband. Any thoughts?
 
Why does that backorder lady sound so happy?? Don't you wish that people could get together and say "screw you apple and screw you at&t". Hey, I'm not whining. They told me November when I ordered in the at&t store on 9/14 and I accepted that. That being said, I feel that there should be some kind of first come first served process. As I said before, it's as if they don't take into consideration the fact that these forums exist and people can see the line of s*** they are trying to get us to believe. Strange thing is, I'm not that unhappy with the phone I have (Note 3). I just felt like apple is doing what they should have done with the 5. Making a larger display and i like to change occasionally. They couldn't tell that people would want a phone the size of a 6plus even though Samsung has been selling tons of larger screen devices very successfully ? B.S. They made a business decision to release the 6plus on a limited basis and see how the orders would go. Apple doesn't get "caught off guard" by the popularity of a device. This fiasco was based on business and profit. Consumer be damned. I'm no young kid, but I look forward to new technology. This isn't fun though. I think though that many have learned a lesson and won't let this happen to us again. Such drama though, right?? Oh well, more important things in the world to deal with. Later!!

My buddy who placed his preorder on 9/16 for a SG 16GB 6+ had his ship this past Friday, so there's hope yet for us. My wife is annoying me with her endless ranting about how small her 5S is. I pacified her with a used iPad Mini retina for now. :)

The upcoming One Plus One pre-order event is very tempting. I'm thinking of per-ordering during the upcoming 1 hour pre-order event, and if I can order early enough to get my One Plus One shipped immediately, bye bye 6 Plus. If I get a crappy ship date, I'm sticking with the 6 Plus. I'm not entirely sure I want to do this though, as I really prefer iOS. With that said, I'm not going to deal with allot of BS just to keep iOS, either.

The Nexus 6 is also very tempting, but preordering isn't until this coming week which means at minimum it will release in mid to late November, which means I might as well wait for my 6 Plus.

Sigh. I should probably just wait it out with AT&T.
