Wow reading the horror stories about orders getting canceled due to credit card mix ups..... I just got notified by my bank they are reissuing my Credit Card that I used for the hold due to the big hacking problem from Home Depot.... Will be calling AT&T once I get the new card, I hope the don't cancel the order and make me reorder with the new credit card number.....agggghhhh farging hackers

I would suggest that if you have another credit card, you call AT&T now and not wait for your replacement. Especially if the bank is going to take 3 to 5 business days to replace your card.
 
Ok so after speaking to a rep in the office of the president. It is a warehouse situation.

Depending on if you ordered in store or online your order went to a certain warehouse across the country depending on location.

The warehouses receive different shipments and they fulfill orders according to what they have. That's how some of us are receiving phones even though we ordered at wildly different times.

It made total sense so I didn't complain or ask for anything.

Hey guys I just found about this thread. I ordered my IPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey on 09/12 (through AT&T website) and my expected shipping is 11/09-11/27. Haven't heard from AT&T since confirmation of my order.
I am getting impatient day by day.

There were a couple of posts a bunch of pages back where people were unable to change their cards once the order was placed, and effectively they had to cancel and get back in the queue. I don't know if this is going to be the case for me or not, I will call and find out, but at this point, I have been seeing 128GB silvers show up in the local apple store every few days. I am probably just going to cancel and get one of those. having the space gray isn't worth the wait to me.

With all the posts of people learning that their phone has been shipped, I just checked and have no good news.

I ordered my 6+ 64g SG from the ATT store mid AM on 9/12.

This would support my idea that the shipments have something to do with geographic location and somewhat regional
 
Ordered our second iPhone through an AT&T brick and mortar store on 09/29. 6 Plus, Silver, 128GB. Just received notice of shipment on Saturday with delivery this Wednesday via USPS 2-day priority.

Other than yours being 128GB, I order the same phone on the same day.

Right now; nada. Backorder purgatory for me.
 
I have been lurking here for a few weeks now even though my quoted ship window does not start until Wednesday of this week. I have on order a 6+ 128 GB SG. I ordered in a non corporate store on 9/21/14 with a ship window of 10/29 - 11/7. I still have hopes of getting my phone this week or early next week as I leave on vacation (40th wedding anniversary) at the end of next week and would like to have the phone to take with me.

BTW, I did the Apple store overnight wait in line on launch day and believe me I will never do that again. If you think ATT is bad at CS, try an Apple Store on product launch day. When I got in line there were less then 100 people ahead of me. Just before the store opened they said that anyone not currently in line (place holders) would be sent to the back of the line if anyone tried to cut in. After the store had been opened for 3 hours, the group I was with had an outsider count how many people were in line in front of us. There were now 175 people in front of us after they had already sold phones for 3 hours. After 6 hours of them being open and selling phones, I was about number 20 in line and they came out and told us that all Plus;s were sold out. Talk about being pissed. What I found out later, is that most of the places in line were being given to friend and family of the Apple Store employees who were buying the max of two phones per person.

During the waiting process for me phone, I have been buying some accessories for the new phone. A Spigen Wallet case, Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector, and Spigen Hard case (if I find the wallet case doesn't workout for me). Also, given the size of the plus (I'll be keeping it in a side pocket most of the time) I bought a Martian Notifier Watch so I can get all my notifications without needing to reach for the phone. The watch is relatively cheap (I picked one up for $79.00 online) and from the testing I have done with my iPhone 5, it seems to work really well for what I want it for.

I have also been updating all my Macs to the Yosemite OS (an iMac, A Mac Mini, and a Macbook Air).

I am now out of things to keep me busy, so I guess now is when the waiting will become the most difficult. From what I have notices, the new shipments seem to start on Tuesdays and go through Friday with the majority being shipped out on Wednesday and Thursday. I hope to see some movement starting tomorrow and as it seems to be coming up on my time in the Que., I am hoping I will get that "we have shipped" email soon.

It happened to me. My credit card I used to place my original order was stolen a few weeks ago and I called att to see if I could change the card on my order. They said it wasn't possible so I had to completely reorder on 10/24. Now my shipping window is 12/4-12/15.
 
Still waiting on my order from 9/26... iPhone 6 Plus Gold 64gb.. Hoping it ships this week.. with a shipping estimate date of 11/5-11/14.

Hoping my card don't have any issues with the hacking lately..

Welcome to the thread, I'm in the same boat as you as well. The thread helps a bit but still :mad: about it all.

I'm waiting till the 35th business day to start raising HELL over at AT&T to at least get my $40 activation fee waived lol. That will be a start I suppose.

Just curious. If you've been following this thread and seen the complete cluster that is ordering from AT&T, why wouldn't you order directly from Apple? Not trying to be judgmental, simply wondering why you would knowingly put yourself through the ringer with these idiots again (AT&T not anyone here).

Never had this issue with ATT before which is why I ordered like I always do.

I ordered the same phone from the same source on 9/23 and my shipping dates are 10/31-11/11.... I can't believe the difference in expected shipping date between two orders of the exact same phone from the exact same source, what is the deal with this order system AT&T!?

I have been a lurker on this thread for a couple weeks and decided I'd add myself to the waiting list. I ordered a 128GB Gold iPhone 6 Plus on 9/25 through AT&T Premier and am hoping potentially the end of this week or the next I will see a shipment. Although, I won't hold my breath considering my shipping window is 11/5-11/14, not to mention I would HOPE that they would cover all of the preorders first, but, it IS AT&T we are dealing with...To make matters worse, I won't find out until they update either the website or send me a text about my order since the 877 number hasn't worked since I've placed the order (although I still try)...

Good luck everyone; I am about as impatient as they come, so for those of you waiting from 9/12, I don't know how you have done it without going mad!

Believe me if I could avoid ordering through att I would. I have a business account so I cannot order from anyone else besides directly through att. Apple does not support upgrades of business accounts unless you go through your provider. I've had to reorder twice now and I really just want my phone. Now I have to wait even longer.

If you look at that list of members and their order dates, you have one of the highest demand devices, and the fellow with the 128GB does not.

Not defending AT&T, but its just the way it is. If it makes you feel any better, there has been almost zero movement on the Gold 64's either.

They have screwed you royally. Call and tell them to drop ship your order or you are switching carriers.

So, I still don't have a new order number. I'm starting to get pissed off again. ARGH! :mad:
