AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Don't lose your hope. You may get your phone before me. Nobody knows order fulfillment pattern of ATT.

I think the "mystery" behind this was answered when someone not long ago said that it has to do with where you ordered from, basically you get assigned a warehouse based on where you ordered and how. So my guess would be that your shipping estimates have to do with what warehouse you are assigned and how long the wait there is. Also, as we all have seen, this doesn't mean you are going to get your phone after he/she does.

Apple's shipping estimates are pretty legit, if not better. I ordered an AT&T 128GB gold 6+ on 9/12. My original delivery estimate was 10/13-10/20. I received my phone on 10/3. Maybe my specific model wasn't as popular, but I was pretty happy with how fast I got my order.

And that is the problem. They are being shipped across the country, so who cares what warehouse your order goes to. There should be a master list and they go down the line to fulfill orders. The way they are handling this is in my opinion a$$ backwards and pi$$ing a lot of people off who NEED a phone.

i definitely didn't say or think it was the right or even the easiest way to do this but at least it is AN answer, instead of just questions and no idea why things are happening. Either way we are all stuck with this issue with the only option being to cancel and try through another avenue which may or may not be any better than where you are now

This is true. I haven't canceled my order in 40 days, I am not going to do so now, whats another couple weeks? Plus AT&T sent me out a complimentary phone to use while I wait (although it took them 39 days to do so).
 
I'm all for First come first served.
But that's clearly not been the case.
I'm not upset with anyone that ordered after me and has received their phone. Not their fault. Its all on Apple and AT&T. Period.

I don't think it has to do with where the warehouse is I ordered two 128g 6+ gold mine at 3:02 and my wife's at 3:47 am on 9/12 she got hers a week and a half before I got mine and they both came from Memphis
 
Who here has received shipment from the FTW warehouse and ordered online? Are you a premier account holder? Where did you order (store, online, phone). I'm located in DFW and am just wondering if that would be my shipment origin .
 
From what I can see, it looks like there is very little if any ATT 6+ inventory anywhere in the country even at the Apple Stores. These are the same conditions that occurred just before the last big movement of units by ATT. We can at least hope.

I ordered on 9/12 in store at 9:00 AM CST in Kentucky with an original ship date of 10/31-11/11. My CC was charged on friday 10/24. I recieved a tracking number from AT&T on the 25th. My phone was shipped UPS Ground from Fort Worth, through DFW and it is now in Memphis. I'm confused as to why it would have gone to Memphis as I live in KY and it would have been closer to send it though Louisville. Either way it's supposed to be held at the local UPS store tomorrow for pick up. I will keep you all updated.

I agree it would be interesting to see where everyone ordered from and what warehouse it came from and also what carrier was used.

My 128 SG is still not shipped.

Anyone who is keeping score at home, I still don't have a reorder for my silver. I'm going to do a few things around the house this morning, then save the afternoon for going to war with ATT.

Edit: to that end, if anyone has that email for the executive staff laying around handy and wants to save me a trip through 500 pages to find it, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll go searching when I get done cleaning house. :)

I kind of wish I would have ordered the 128 gb instead of the 64 gb. The extra $100 might be worth it to have my phone right now... I keep checking and no updates on my order.

themyst and 420, I'm hoping we get something either this week or next. If it's any longer I'm going to dieeee.... not really but, you know what I'm saying. I just want my phone!

That's a hard call. I have read of people securing phones with reserve and pick-up as well as going to local Apple stores and lining up for walk in purchases. I was doing AT&T Next so reserving for in store pick up was not an option. I had to place an online order. At least with shipping, you know you will eventually get your phone. It may take some time, but you won't drive yourself crazy searching stores.

I am assuming you ordered online since it's 3 am in that case it's very likely that it used some logic no one here knows (or at ATT knows either besides the programmer that wrote it) to assign your warehouse and that's why you had vastly different shipping dates.
 
My phone is on a Fedex truck out for delivery!! For those of you trading in your old phones and ordered before Sept 30th. I got the trade in email with the promotion code 48 hours after receiving the shipping confirmation email.
