Many of you are out to lunch. I have been waiting too. I have had my order canceled too. I had to reorder and start again. I'm not happy either.
But...Apple is not shipping phones very fast. You can crow all you want about the big bad ATT, but the bottom line is Apple cannot even get them into stores in quantity. With a 50% yield of 6+ screens, too early a roll out to many more countries and now a problem with the flash. All of the 64 and 128's are going to dry up until component suppliers can provide Apple with the new flash in quantity (and they were not expecting to have to). Not only is Apple extremely far behind in production, they have to make a manufacturing change. Then, you have to replace phones for the customer that already have them that are having problems.
ATT did not do a good job with logistics, but I do not know what y'all expect from them when they don't get phones. And at this point, they probably don't have shipping information if you have ordered one of the 64 or 128. This isn't info Apple is going to provide...to anyone...period.
Reality is if you wanted ATT to be brutally honest, they would tell you you'll get when you get it. Would you somehow be satisfied if your conversation with ATT went like this:
"When will you get more?" Dunno.
"When will you ship mine? Dunno.
"I have been waiting months!" I know, so have we.
"I want my phone shipped now!" Sigh.
They know your actual ship date as well as you know it.

You can handle the situation how ever you wish. But some folks here have an unhealthy response to the situation.

Looks like supplies of 64/128 Gb 6+ phones are down. Last week when I snag my phone at my local Apple store they had all colors available. I would check every day for curiosity. This week, only the 16Gb is available. I've been enjoying my phone during my first week. I don't carry around my iPad anymore except when my kids are with me so they can play games. I've had the Apple leather case but not sure if it is strong enough to put in my front pocket to prevent bending. Anyone try the Adopted case? In mentions it has a metabolized frame.

I'm sorry, I disagree. At&t can't escape blame here. If I walk into a store today, a rep will guarantee me that I will receive my phone in between a specific range of days. It is bad business practice for them to be giving their customers notice that they will receive their phones between these dates. Blame Apple all you want, but in the end, most people have cancelled with At&t and went to Apple and not only received shipping dates, but actually received their devices.

If you can't deliver a product in a specified time frame (and at this point they know that) the answer should be to the costumer (upon initially placing the order) that the item is on backorder and we do not have any specific information when it will be available. Obviously, the reason they don't do that is because 80% of the people would walk away at that point and find other means to get their phones.

It's a two way street and At&t is on the wrong side.

It has been 24 hrs since my CC charged. No signs of shipment. No emails or status change. It still shows preparing to ship. Wait continues..

Amen! AT&T shouldn't be selling or advertising a product that isn't available. And it's preposterous to insinuate that a company as big as AT&T doesn't know when shipments are coming in.
The person(s) & people defending them have to be working for them or have their devices.

I'm a customer. I placed an order almost 2 months ago. I demand answers. They expect the money to cover it to sit there all this time and if it's not they cancel without notifying the customer or providing chance for correction.

They send people to escalation teams who say "your phone is on its way today". Bold faced lie when they don't return your call with a tracking number as stated they would. Then don't return up to three voicemails left.

Bad. Horrific. Terrible customs service. Horrible policies. Worthless.

There was a news article recently saying that there was a major Holiday in China; the second biggest holiday of the year. Factories were closing for a few days to let workers go home and visit families. This could be affecting supplies.

Today's email to Mr. Stephenson.

I've been in contact with a John Flynn in an AT&T Executive Office out of Washington state. After actually communicating Friday 11/7 with him he assured me he would ensure my phone was on a truck that day and call me with a tracking number. He never did and is since ignoring my calls and voicemails. I'm continuously disconnected when calling customer service and treated like filth on chat. They don't answer questions and claim disconnection or never getting messages.

AT&T shouldn't be selling or advertising a product that isn't available. And it's preposterous for you or your customer service representatives to insinuate that a company as big as AT&T doesn't know when shipments are coming in.

I'm a customer. I pay you for a service. I placed an order almost 2 months ago. I demand answers. You all expect the money to cover it to sit in my bank account all this time and if it's not you cancel without notifying the customer or providing chance for correction.

I want answers on my order. I don't appreciate the way I've been treated or how this is being handled.

Expect the emails to continue until I get an answer that makes sense and isn't full of lies. When other carriers and retailers are getting phones in and you all say you have none it leads a customer to wonder what you are doing wrong and if they should jump from an obviously floundering ship.

I upgraded through next and live in Oregon so I'm paying exactly $0 upfront, nothing to check. :p

With Next you get charged the sales tax on the phone when they ship it.

Edit: Never mind... I see you have no sales tax in Oregon. You are a lucky person!

Ordered 9/20 in store Premier customer
2 Space Gray 128 GB 6 +'s

This is my last post of this kind, but as a person also waiting for a 6+ SG 128, it is nice to see another icon pop up on iStockNow (this time in San Francisco, Calif.) for that particular item. :)

I can't help but believe they're filtering out to the various stores and warehouses while we furiously click the refresh button on our order status pages.

Gingersnap3813, hang in there!

9/29 iPhone 6+ 64GB
CC charged yesterday
Shipping today. Should arrive Friday 11/14. One business day before my ESD ends.

Tom Petty is right; "The waiting is the hardest part."

So much for getting my phone. Touch ID stopped working and kept saying failed so I tried restoring it and now it won't restore. And I just turned in my 4s this evening, so now I have no phone.

Which phone do you have that is failing? 6 or 6+ ? How much GB?

Ok so I just realized how to properly find out the status of my order by phone and it says back ordered (SG 64). When I check online it says preparing to ship with the ship dates 11/13-11/24. I'm confused. Can someone explain. Are these the signs that it'll ship soon? I thought I knew what was going on, but I was wrong. Thanks!

It means.. Keep on waiting until you see a pending charge on your CC and the status change to "in process" over the phone.

Seeing that my phone (6+ ATT 64GB Space Gray) is in stock at all of these stores just makes me angry...

I cancelled my order and walked right into an apple store and walked out fifteen minutes later. I did love this part...

t80ktf.png

The "recently placed order" was recently placed on September 22.

My problem wasn't even the wait it was the lack of communication from at&t, I slipped past my ship window with nothing, one day ok, two, people get busy, three...yeah, no excuse. If for some reason I was three days late with a payment I'm sure they would probably be calling me.

The CSR that cancelled my order was nice and went above and beyond, even called me back because there was a hiccup. This is the first time I have ever had any kind of problem ordering from at&t. That said, I probably won't order from them again and definitely not a launch product. I'll wait a few months - that way I get the 'pre-order wait' without the preorder frustration.

Ordered through premier on 9/24/14 6+ SG 64gb given 11/3/14-11/12/14 ESD. Card charged yesterday; tracking recieved today. Expected delivery on friday.

No way did I expect it to ship on the last day of the window BUT IT DID :D

Not that I'm not happy for you... But Jesus. That's three people today who are also premier who ordered the same phone days after me and have received tracking info.

Think I'm same as you thirdeyeopen666 - SG 64gb 6+ ordered 9/23 shipping window 10/31-11/11. My online order status went back to Preparing to Ship from Backordered. 877# now says Processing. No notification from AT&T yet. DFW, TX area.

Damn... Hope no one steals my package... Left at front doors no signature required... And no one is home until like 8:30pm :(... One thing I hate about ordering things online when no one is home... They just leave it at the front door since most of the package/shipping carriers do not require signature.

If you're at work I think you need to leave early. :) Good luck! Glad you got yours.
