Just an update to my order that was placed on 9/19 for a 128gb SG

As of today it is still "preparing to ship" when checked online, and "in progress" when I call in.

Tomorrow will be 8 weeks.

Same order same day, and 877 still says backordered. I wish you luck, but at this point, I'm totally bummed the ****** out. I just hope I have one BEFORE Christmas.
 
Cancel and go through Apple, people! I ordered through AT&T on 9/20 and as of today had nothing and no help or answers. Almost 2 effing months. Cancelled my order.

Placed it through Apple and have 2-4 weeks GARAUNTEED.

If I go to an AT&T store and cancel, my upgrade is re-instated immediately, correct?

Did you order it online or at an AT&T store?

My 09/20 had been ordered for a new line at an ATT store, and when it was cancelled, the eligibility of the new line never got reinstated, as it was supposed to.
Last Saturday I did a Chat & the CSR said it takes 5-7 business days but would do it in 2-3 days for me, and assigned a case number and a set date of 11/12 for an emailed resolution. Did another Chat again on Monday night and that CSR happened to say that my order was "partnered with the store". When I asked it was clarified that it takes them longer to process reinstatement since the original order was connected to the store system.
I took the advice of a fellow forum member, and headed out to an ATT Corporate store (not Retail store!!). It got done right away and I was able to check and verify the eligibility of both lines on my phone before leaving. The CSR at the Corporate store referred to retail stores in a condescending way...almost like retail store CSRs are at the lower end of the totem pole. I guess you can say that Corporate store CRSs are like the equivalent of Apple geniuses for ATT. They all had tablets and worked right on them to solve issues and do transactions.

Soooooo......

If you bought it online, phone & chat CSR should be able to do it right away.
If you ordered at the ATT store, make sure to go to an ATT Corporate Store to get it done right away.
 
So! I cancelled my order through AT&T!!!
Best Buy had one and was holding it for me. I got there and they'd sold it. Trust me. They got an earful along with AT&T.

No one else has them around so after two months of waiting ...... I ordered through Apple and will have it in 2-3 weeks. Garunteed. Take me off the list. Sick of AT&T's ****. And now Best Buy is on my list. The woman that was buying the phone they held for me was in the middle of purchase and I think was scared of me.

I hope she has nightmares tonight.

Are you serious?! I hate best buy don't get me started on them! And our Apple Store too apple got a earful on their sucky employees also from me. Which is a surprise they normally have great customer service. Well I am glad you finally ordered from apple I hope you get it faster!

Yes. Thank goodness you got your tracking and am glad you're getting your phone thirdeyeopen666.

I still haven't gotten any notification from AT&T and just got off the phone with 2 different CSRs. All the CSRs I've spoken to insist that orders are being processed as they come in. They tell me the forums I'm reading cannot be validated so I can't believe what people are writing. :mad:

Unreal. Sorry man. :(

At&t told me up front it would be back ordered minimum 4 weeks. Email the same day I ordered with shipping window 11/6-11/27.
Email came with Fedex tracking number the other day. Did not have to sign for it. I received email saying it was delivered.
I am a small female and immediately knew I'd love it. Not to big just right size. Be patient everyone!

thats a good estimate. my credit card was just charged by apple after 2 weeks and 5 days.

Apple closed off the line before I could get to the store. :mad::mad::mad:

I take the commuter train from work, it's not like I could get there any earlier.

I just decided to end the BS with AT&T and order online through Apple. Same wait time, possibly faster than waiting for AT&T to ship my damn phone.

I can deal with the wait, knowing I will for-sure get my phone in the estimate, no game with AT&T.

So, I've been watching these forums for a while now and wanted to be added to the list of disappointed:

Ordered in-store (Corporate)
iPhone 6 Plus SG 128GB
Date: 9/20
Original Shipping dates: 10/30-11/7
Emails: only one on 11/7 stating that the demand is high
Ship to Location: Home (HI)

Unfortunately, I was in WA at the end of October and, while knowing that orders have either been shipped before or well after their given shipping dates, did not actively seek out a phone while I was there. Of course, it was only seconds after getting back to work that I found the iStockNow and iDeviceChecker websites. :eek::mad: Oh well

PS: I only just got my account unlocked since it was originally tethered to my college email address which is now locked out. At least the MacRumors Forums CSRs can do their job, reliably and on time!

Decided to join the conversation after following this forum for a bit.
I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus SG 128 GB from AT&T also.
I ordered on 10/5, and my shipping window is 11/12 - 11/21.
Maybe I will see it by Thanksgiving? Or maybe not, the 877# says
my item is on backorder, and the AT&T page says preparing to ship.
 
Posted about two weeks ago as a long time lurker. But ordered a 64GB Silver on 10/28. Just got a email saying order has been shipped and will be delivered on Monday. Sucks how some of you have been waiting for weeks and I got it shipped in like 2 weeks. Best of luck.
