AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Quest for a 6"S"+
OK….rather than check my order status AGAIN I decided to have fun with ATT cust service. I called and asked if I could pre-order a 6S+. She politely said I could order one now but they are on back order. I asked again if the 6S+ was really available. Again, yes, but there is a several week wait. (you can see how this is going). We talked for a while and I continued to ask for the 6S+ and finally had to say "it usually takes a year for the "S" version to come out but I am ready to order now". She caught on and didn't think I was funny at all. She did say I was her first call about the next release so I've got that going for me.
Back to waiting for my 128 SG 6+ (no S)

My phone was delivered by USPS today, I met my mail deliverer on the driveway and he was almost as excited as I was. He has heard about the delays and mentioned how happy all of his customers have been to get their iPhone 6+.
So far I am loving it even though I had to spend 30 min on phone with ATT to get it activated.
Good thoughts are going to everyone who has not received their phone yet, patients grasshopper.
Can anyone tell me the ios version preinstalled on the phone they just received?
Are you new to AT&T? All I did was put my old sim-card from my iPhone 5S into my new phone. Maybe you have an older phone with a different sim-card size?
No, I am not new to ATT. When I called to activate the system indicated that my new phone was already activated which was not true since I had just got it from the mailman. CSR was helpful but it just took a long time to resolve the issue that she agreed was "not normal". No big deal, all is good and I am just happy I have my phone for my Bday#
I believe 8.1 ... but I cant be certain, because I restored my phone from iTunes backup.
There are still a lot of us who ordered before you and haven't got them.
I hear you. This whole process has been pretty frustrating. In any event, I just checked and my card has pending charges from AT&T and the phone lady now says it is being "Processed" (previously she always said "Back-ordered") so with a little luck my phone will ship soon.
For those considering cancelling their ATT orders and ordering from Apple, I cancelled my ATT order and ordered an iPhone 6+ 128GB SG from Apple on 10/25 with a delivery window of 11/21-12/1 it shipped via UPS yesterday. its currently in ZhengZhou, China with a delivery date of 11/19.
This is very telling to me.
This might explain a whole bunch.
What if AT&T to save money on shipping waits until they have a "FULL" crate before they ship over.
So they wait until they have 15000 or so phones before they ship out of china.
This explains why you have famine or feast in terms of inventory.
The shipment goes to Ft Worth and is distributed. But if they only get 10 6+ sg 128gb. You won't see anymore for another 2-3 weeks when the crate is full again.
Oy.
Soooooooooo I just got off the phone with the retention department. The CSR "assured" me, "Sir, I see on my end your phone should be shipped out this upcoming week".
Meanwhile my shopping window was 11/5-11/14. I don't understand how/why they can see different information than us. When I check my online status and call the 877 number both statues say Back-Ordered.
Hopefully she CAN see something different though. I just want to get my phone! It literally feels like forever. Lol first world problems, I know.

So.... the AppleStore in downtown Honolulu has the 128GB SG 6+.... gonna try to get a copy!! Wish me luck!

Good luck. I'm very close to Apple Store Kahala but didn't even attempt going to the store this time. Should be getting my 6+ Monday after ordering it wayyyy back on 9/23.
What a day yesterday!
Alright so here's the story.
Ordered 6+ 64GB Space Gray on 10/8/14 with a shipment ETA of 11/17/14-11/26/14. Found out on 10/12/14 that my CC was canceled due to the Home Depot breach. Called AT&T on 10/12/14 to try and update my CC info and they said they couldnt add a new card to take the payment but since i was on AT&T Next, they would just charge the tax for the phone to my cell phone bill.
Waited and waited, my order finally went to from backorder to processing on 11/13/14. Still said processing on 11/14/14 all day long. No email, no tracking, nothing.
Wake up on 11/15/14, check my status and i am CANCELED. At this point im furious and like WTF! So i call AT&T and they are like yea its a payment issue the only thing we can do is have you re-order the phone with a new CC. I'm like F that, this is BS! On top of all of it, they had my upgrade completely messed up, so im not showing available for an upgrade anymore.
Anyway, to end the story quickly, i ended up going to a corp. AT&T store, getting my upgrade made available again and getting a 6+ 16GB Space Gray from their stock. They didn't have any 64GB models but here's how i see it. I don't store music, games or apps on my phone. The only thing that really takes up space is photos. Here was where i made my compromise.
64GB 6+ is $42.50 on the Next 12 plan
16GB 6+ is $37.50 on the Next 12 plan
Difference of $5 a month..
Since i dont store anything but photos, i ended up just buying the 200GB of icloud storage for $3.99 a month and enabling the icloud photo library (beta). Boom, i get over double the storage and i save $1.01 a month on my bill, plus all my stuff is stored in the cloud and safe.
Oh yea i got a phone the same day and didnt have to wait another month an a half!

I am a lonnng time lurker!!! I watched this feed forever. I ordered two iPhone 6 plus 128 gold from ATT on 10/06 estimated shipping 11/19-12/1... I was so upset. I waited a good month and did like majority of the people on the feed. I went to my nearest Apple store stood in line like 10 minutes walked out with two 128 ip6 plus's. I've had my phone for 2 weeks now. If you are still waiting and a Apple Store is nearby go there and while standing in line cancel your order with ATT or whoever else. I hope everyone get there phones soon.

my gf ordered a silver 16 gig 6 plus friday 11/14 and it already shipped as of today with a delivery of tuesday fedex 2 day air
Like i suspected. I started seeing ppl that ordered late sept early to mid oct getting their orders fulfilled and posted about two days ago hoping to get mine shipped too. Sure enough, got an email today with a USPS tracking number shipping to Puerto Rico on two day service. SG 64gb ordered on 10/16 with windows of 11/25-12/05. Card and grumpy lady say processing so, no more wait. Its still sad that ATT messed all of those orders and Apple to for not preparing better for demand! Wont say never ordering from ATT again since there are no Apple Stores in Puerto Rico. Ill stay at least until Gingersnap gets hers from apple and she becomes happy again-
Update: Tracking number updated and phone is shipping from Fort Worth, TX and its Next day air! so it should be at the store tomorrow by 3pm. Again, really hope all of those 128 Gb and 64 that havent been shipped get to your hands soon!
