I'm getting a bit curious if AT&T will ever ship my phone, or any of the other 128G SG 6 Pluses.

I have two iphones on my AT&T plan at the moment. I wonder if I should just cancel the order and order through Apple. Or, even switch carriers. I've had good service with AT&T for the last number of years, but this ordering fiasco is simply not acceptable. I am not sure if I should wait out the ship window until 'Black Friday'. Or just go ahead and cancel now.

I had the same phone on order as well, finally gave up after six weeks and canceled my order. Funny thing was, after I canceled my order AT&T sent me an email saying they did not know when they would ship me the phone! That was two weeks ago, and today I got a text message saying "your order has been canceled by request". So after canceling my AT&T order, I ordered from Apple directly, and now I'm just hoping it will get here within the estimated delivery dates, which is December 11 to December 18. My advice to you is cancel the order from AT&T and order from Apple directly.

It also seems a lot of us that are left are 6+ SG 128’s Premier. I am also grandfathered in unlimited...Anyone else?

Yeah thread has kind of died down a bit. Ppl getting their phones arent complaning anymore and well, i guess others have given up! Still here until at least gingersnap gets hers from apple. Mine is supposed to be delivered today, so will keep you guys posted
 
Still without my 128sg 6+ non premier ordered on 9/19 shipping dates 11/9-11/27 I am canceling on 11/26 if I haven't received my phone by then, that day is also my birthday, I'm sure I won't receive it on the 27th because that's the holiday. Way past the 28-35 business day mark! The is getting ridiculous!
 
This thread has gotten a bit quiet. Those of us who are still waiting are still hanging around.

I'm debating canceling my order from AT&T. Depends on my available funds I suppose. I'd have to pay full price for a new 6 Plus, I think. I'm not on a contract currently. I ordered the 6+ by signing up on the Next program. But if I cancel my order, I suppose I'm back to my old plan. We shall see... :confused:

Exact situation I have myself here.

Premier, so I'm stuck ordering through AT&T. I can't order outside of this and maintain my service, my unlimited data, etc.

Same phone. Which apparently isn't being manufactured anymore. Or just AT&T is full of garbage.

No communication. It's absolute insanity that we get ZERO from AT&T on this. Simply communication at least makes it appear that they empathize with their customers. At this point, they are simply in the space of ignoring us, making me at least, more pissed off.

I'm sticking it out! Just need to see how this story ends. I'm not mad. I was told end of November when I ordered on 9/19. I had a 6 128 in my hands at the store and decided I could handle the wait for the 6+. The 6S+ is what I really want but that was a different post.
 
Still here too. No movement whatsoever on my 64GB SG 6+ that I ordered 9/24. If didn't have other devices and a discount through my employer, I'd have left weeks ago...
 
Just to give you my experience - don't know if it will work for you...I had ordered the 6+ 128GB gold through AT&T on the AT&T Next plan. After reading all of the stories on this thread, I was very nervous as to whether I would get a phone at all!

I found a 6+ 128GB gold available at an Apple store. Because I had an active order, I could not reserve the phone online. So, I drove 2 hours on to the store, they reserved the phone for me & said there was about a 45 minute wait, during which time I could cancel my order and have AT&T re-instate my elegibility for AT&T Next (I was not going to cancel my order until I knew I had reserved an actual phone). It took about 30 minutes (which is what others on this thread had said) and when my turn came, the Apple rep was able to see/verify that I could buy the phone from Apple on AT&T Next.

In hindsight, that was the best thing I could do...my phone was not due to be shipped until December & I just didn't want to wait anymore & deal with the uncertainty of it all.

BTW, I love the phone:D...well worth that 2-hour drive to the Apple store!

As I said, I don't know if this will work for you (I realize that not everyone has the time nor the proximity to be able to go to the Apple stores), but I wish you luck on whatever you do!

Stick it out CrazyMan. If we go until next summer I am planning to host an OldiPhoneACon in Vegas where everyone dresses up like their favorite imaginary iPhone 6+ 128 SG Super Hero! It's going to be great. Of course someone always dresses up like the GrimATTReaper. That can be a downer.
 
I have been watching iStocknow.com for ATT 6+ SG 128's.. Yesterday they were in 6 Apple store, country wide. Mostly Tn, Chicago area, Georgia and South Carolina.

Today I see them in Texas, Florida and Iowa..

Hopefully the Texas sitings will also hit AT$T... We can only hope...
 
Ordered 128gb SG 6+ on 10/11 at an NYC AT&T store, shipping dates were 11/19-12/1, received shipping notice (with tracking #) on 11/18 that it has shipped. Kinda surprised by this (happily surprised). Ordered my nephews 64gb silver 6 on the same day, his shipping dates were 10/30-11/10, and his shipped 11/9, got it 11/13. So you would think the 6+, especially the 128gb SG would take longer to ship, but I'm getting it earlier within the shipping window (actually shipped 1 day prior to the shipping dates starting) than the 6 was shipped. I think there is no ryhme or reason, it's just the luck of the draw.
 
Just dumped ATT due to their inability to give good customer service

I order my ATT iPhone 6+, 128G, SG, on Oct 10th with a delivery date of Nov 19th, on the NEXT program from last year. On Nov 11th I went to an ATT Store and canceled my order and the gentleman said that my eligibility would be restored prior to my leaving the store. He said the computers were slow and that by the time I went to the Apple Store, within the same mall, it would show up. But he told me that if I was going to use the NEXT program with Apple, I would first have to payoff the NEXT balance of $252. Didn't understand why, but I paid the balance and now had a paid up contract and was free to do whatever I wanted. I went to the Apple store to pick up my in stock iPhone 6+ and the eligibility was not restored. I called Customer Service and they said it would take 24-72 hours to restore. I argued and lost that point, so I left without my phone. While I was waiting for my eligibility I decided that since my contract was paid up I might as well get my phone unlocked, well, they declined my request and said I was still under contract. Back and forth for many hours and 8 days later I got my eligibility restored. Too late, I already went to Verizon and took my 2 lines with me and I will receive my phone next week and will get $300 for porting my 2 numbers over. So glad to tell ATT to stick it. Have been a long time customer of theirs, but no more. Good-bye and good riddance.

Congrats to you! But this just pissed me off. I ordered the 128 SG 6+ on the Sept 19th and I'm still waiting. Ugh. I may just cancel this BS and move to another phone. I'm tired of all this.

I ordered the same phone on 9/27 with a shipping date of 11/5-11/14 and have not got it yet. There was no emails on the status but when I checked the website and call the 800 number it says it is on back order

Ditto for my order and opinion. I'm about done with AT$T.

There really is NO REASON for them to ship the same damn phone ordered weeks or a month later by others who've already ordered theirs. I'm tellin' ya, it's likely a monkey with a dart throwing at random spots on a list. :rolleyes:
 
I am seeing more 128 SG 6+ available at Apple stores today. Maybe if the stars align and AT&T gets a few in, we might see ours someday.

Yeah right. Who am I kidding. AT&T is probably stockpiling the 6+ for the holiday season, instead of sending them to those of us that have been waiting 2 months!

Thanks, I'm sorry for all of you guys going through this crap. I expected to be delayed until Christmas, totally shocked by the email.

My phone arrived yesterday. Ordered 64GB SG 6+ on 9/29. 47 days later my order moved from processing to shipped. 50 total days of waiting for the phone. It shipped 3 days before the last day of my shipping window. I've been out of town so I won't even open it until tonight. Hopefully I got a 'good batch' and no broken pixels, yellow screen, scratches etc...:cool:

I don't have that much today either, and I am stuck right now since I am both a Premier customer, and I'm using a different lines upgrade for this one. I can't just go to an Apple store (even though they are now available in my area for the first time ever!!!).

I will say, if they have a lot for sale on Black Friday, and we haven't received ours, then a phone call and email to the CEO will definitely be in order, along with a possible change of carriers!
