Has anyone heard any definitive information or had any experience with preorder cancellation at the last minute? An in-store rep told me it couldn't be done same-day and a chat rep told me it could. I've seen some people say they didn't get their tracking numbers until late the night before, but I plan to to line up at the store pretty early, so I'm not sure if I should wait til tonight to cancel or cancel now.

Also, did someone say something about the rep being able to stay on the line and confirm the eligibility reset? Because if I wait in line for a million hours just to be told my eligibility isn't there, that is the final point at which I will have a full meltdown. :mad:
 
Seeing all these November phones getting tracking numbers is getting me really anxious. I ordered a 64gb 6+ SG at 3:05am est and still showing 10/2-10/13. I hope it ships soon!

I am in NJ as well, order in at 3.18am 64 gold 6+, my dates moved up from 10/31 - 11/11 to 10/2 - 10/13 like two days ago. I have no other movement and the charge dropped off my card. I'm also on a premier account because I get a discount from my job.

so annoying....:mad:
 
I'm not sure why but I was so sure that I'd refresh my AT&T order status page after waking up this morning and see the highly anticipated "shipped" update, but of course it still is sitting on preparing for 10/2.

Yawn... Wish I didn't have to go to work so I could just sleep until tomorrow ;P

So the games begin again today!

Thanks a bunch AT&T. I will never order from you again. This is a bummer especially when people who ordered later, much later in some cases are receiving their phones tomorrow. I guess I can give up on refreshing every page now.

I also received this email. Ordered 128gb gold plus 10 minutes early at 11:50pm PST.
 
Looks like my order status went to "Pending" on the Premier site. Not sure if that's a good thing.

My CC still hasn't been charged since the hold dropped off.

Looks like the Silver, and Gold pluses are shipping. The Space grey seems to be the one not shipping.

Not necessarily. I ordered plus 64gb silver. A lot of others got their shipping info. I have no changes. And I ordered before midnight.

My Apple cancellation resulted in a very quick reinstatement of upgrade eligibility, but I would be very very skeptical that AT&T would be so easy. And I'm not sure if I'd trust a rep to do it on the fly. I'd just stick it out at this point. Of course, I absolutely hate waiting in those launch day lines. In addition, I have a feeling there will be almost no 6+ phones available in stores.
 
So apparently ATT is full of it and it seems they decided to screw over a bunch if us that ordered right at launch time instead filling a bunch if orders later in the morning. So much for filling orders in the order they got them. We are owed an explanation but will never get one. They should just call the preorder launch the Iphone lottery.

Lol the same thing here. I am finished checking my status for now. Seems like people who ordered after me are getting shipment confirmations while I keep going backwards. Good luck
 
Looks like I lost the pending Charge on my amex for the phone. I still show pending shipping of 10/2-10/13

This tells me i doubt I will be getting my phone anytime soon. Even feel next month is doubtful also.

Hopefully I can get a phone tomorrow at my store. Last I heard, we probably will NOT be getting any 6+ in stock. I will find out today when inventory comes in......

I cannot agree more with this statement, plus it seems if you had a FAN account you got the shaft. Interesting to me because most of the FAN Discounts are from Fortune 500 companies. You know, the employees and decision makers of those companies you probably don't want to upset.

Going to Verizon tomorrow and checking out their plans and speaking with a rep. This boils down to principal and nothing more at this point, I don't need to pay someone to lie to me, I get that all day long for free.

You're also making some assumptions about how simple it is to work logistics on shipping millions of phones in one week. I'm not saying they ARE lying, but the people who get them aren't necessarily first-come-first-serve. There's also geography, regions, flight patterns, etc to consider.

If people who ordered hours after I did(approximately 3:20 am eastern) are getting their orders filled, what's the point?

Considering switching carriers based on this customer service nightmare.

I'm in the same boat, my order went in on the website at 3.18am and I received my email at 4.58am apparently when we received the email reflects where we are in the queue, but people who ordered at 10am already have their tracking... first come first serve my left one!

I should be more positive, but I'm cranky stayed up late trying to do that stupid IOS8 update and it's "three hour" window took more like 6 :(

This reminds me of my iphone5 preorder with apple, I was stuck with this shipment that seemed to be hijacked in China. It was just hanging out there for a week and a half. I missed the launch date by a week and a half.

I wish I was getting mine on launch day as well, but leaving AT&T because I get my phone a few days later seems a bit drastic to me. To each his own, but I'm not going to pretend to know how ridiculously complicated it is to get millions of phones shipped out within just a couple days.
