This wait is a sorta exciting. Come Friday we'll all be jealous of everyone who receive their 6 Plus BUT we'll also be on Youtube or whatever other websites watching the unboxing videos and reviews as we anticipate receiving ours even more.

Took the words right out of my mouth. However, I think I'm going to brave the crowds Friday if my pre-order doesn't come in time. :)
 
Placed order Friday 9/12 @ 12:06am PST for iPhone 6 64GB Gold. ATT order status still states "Preparing to Ship" but logged onto UPS My Choice and package has already been dispatched with tracking number via Next Day Air Saver (ETA Friday). As said previously, I know the Plus people are the really frustrated ones but I would take ATT's info with a grain of salt. It is still super chaotic and will (hopefully) all sort itself out in due time!

"Hear me now and believe me later", (Hans & Franz for those too young to know). I think those of us who have had 9/17-9/18 dates since the beginning will receive a FEDEX tracking # tomorrow and get our phone on Friday as expected.
 
I ordered the 64gb i6 on 12th as well, few minutes as soon as it went live and I find it annoying that there’s no UPS my choice notice yet ! is there something else I have to do ? (ordered via att - 9/17 - 9/18 ship date)

Just be nice to have a little reassurance seeing the tracking info lol.
& the wait continues....

The reviews are keeping me busy until then
 
Placed order for iPhone 6+ 64gb space gray through att.com at about 3:30am CST on 9/12. My order status still shows "Preorder processing" "Expected Ship Date: Pending Confirmation"

Should I be worried? I've never gotten an actual expected ship date except for the email confirmation that said 21-28 days.

Anyone else still show "Pending confirmation?"
 
I suggested we add a column for "Cancel Order" button disappearing hours ago to no avail. LOL I'm sure we can extract some valuable info from that.

Just a thought with the google spreadsheet, why don't we also collect the first 4 digits of the order number? If it really is in the priority of first come first serve, wouldn't this show which groups of people have seen changes in their order?

Edit: or rather something in relationship to the order number
 
Is the AT&T warehouse in the US or are our phones shipping from China to Anchorage and have just been designated for AT&T customers?

Preorder Processing, pending, back to preorder processing now.
VISA had two charges pending 1.00 + price of phone w tax.
Now my bank has cleared the pending charges, but has not charged my acct?
However my available credit is still less the exact amount of the phone?

This is first person I have seen who got a tracking number for a iphone +

and that is for 16 gig which most ppl didn't buy.. think 64 most common followed by 128..

I'm not much of a photo or iTunes hoarder. Things get regularly uploaded to my laptop to free up phone space. My iPad air is 16 gb and I'm still sitting on 5 that are available. Curious what everyone needs so much space for? If you're not going to store volumes of songs and pics, I just don't see the point (unless you're a gamer and have tons of 1gb apps).
 
Not attempting to rain on anybody's parade but those of you who have already been bumped 1x or 2x and still hope for a bump to Friday- do you realistically think they have sufficient phones to accomplish that? :rolleyes:
But hey,I've had 9/17-9/18 since Day One and no shipping info yet.

I had the exact same issue and I placed my order for a Space Gray iPhone 6, 128 GB at 4:09 EST (so 20 min before you) and got a confirmation email at 10 AM that day. It was worrying me because I didn't know what they meant by "confirmation." So I called my credit card company today to insure that the $1 hold on my account was ok and they said all was good on their end.

I then (as I detailed in an earlier post) called ATT Premier and spoke to someone who told me that there was an issue with my order and it had something to do with my card. I told him that I already verified with my credit card that things were good, but he said he had to resubmit. So he subsequently did that, simply verifying info about my card but not asking me to give him the info all over again. Then I got charged. It was after that convo that I saw a status change to "preparing to ship" (on regular ATT site) with a ship date finally showing up on Premier - BUT, that ship date is between 10/15-11/4! :-(

Bottom line - as long as you see the $1 charge I would just leave it be. I fear I made a mistake calling ATT and I wonder if that only served to mess up my order. Guess I'll know by the end of this week.
 
Interesting... I have to say that I'm relieved to find someone else out there that is experiencing this, but I'm sorry you have to deal with the mystery, too!

I have one of those fan/iru accounts with att. So what I did is call the guy who created my account and he ordered it for me. I'm assuming online but with their system. Had I ordered myself on att.com I would have paid $749.99 for the iPhone 6 64gb in gold. However because of the way my account is set up I only paid sales tax for the phone.

I've been checking on the off chance I might get lucky but nothing showing up for me.

I live in Philadelphia though and some have said that your location will have some bearing on this.

Pending charges cleared also but my available balance didn't change. I can't even see the charges anymore. Wonder what this means.
 
I preordered my iPhone 6 Plus 128gig SG at 12:07 PST on night of launch. I did not get a confirmation email until 3:21 am, and initially had a ship date of 10/31. Yesterday, that changed to 10/15, and today to 10/2.

They are processing all of the orders as first come, first serve guys...I expect mine to have a ship date of 9/18 either tomorrow evening, or on Thursday itself.

Don't expect a tracking number from them until tomorrow, or even Thursday. If you are lucky enough to see your package on the UPS website now, you are good to go. For the rest of us, think of it like you are at a Six Flags theme park on a VERY BUSY day where the line for the most popular ride is 4 hours long. As you move closer to the ride, there are markers/signs that indicate how much longer til you get to the front. Just wait patiently as it will be soon your turn to get on the ride.

I am still going to check my ship date every hour though LOL! But at least I know what the process is like and what to expect.

Ordered about 9:30am 9/12 through the premier site. Initially tried at 3am but had errors. 64gb 6 SG for me and 16gb silver 6 for my wife. Her order has been saying an estimated date between 9/20 and 10/1 with mine between 10/15-10/31. Both the premier site and Att site have updated me to 9/17-9/18 ship. These are two new lines. Maybe I got bumped in priority?
