Just adding another data point to the mix. Ordered my 64GB slate 6 at 3:11am CDT on 9/12, three minutes after ordering the same phone for my wife. Her order was "preparing for shipment" within hours with a shipping estimate of 9/17-9/18. It took over 24hrs for my order to change to "preparing for shipment" with an initial shipping estimate of 10/13-10/31. Our UPS MyChoice showed her shipment ready with a weight of 1.3 lbs for delivery on 9/19 as of Monday morning. The shipping estimate for my order just updated within the last hour to 9/17-9/18. I'm still not sure if that means they'll ship together, but hoping that's a real update and not a database error.
Oh I haven't been expecting to receive it on Friday. It's just far better than having to wait until November/December like many people
And I'd be willing to bet you and I placed our orders within minutes of each other, so I highly doubt you are much further ahead.
Sweet. 6+ Gold 64gb has been showing 10/13-10/22 since 9/12 and it just updated now to 10/02-10/13. Nice!
Both item status and shipping status now say "Preparing to Ship", I don't think they were like that before.

Ordered at 4:15 am EST and received 2 emails saying delivery on 9/19. Then since Friday it has said "preparing to ship" on 9/17-9/18. Nothing on MyChoice or FedEx. Hope I can still get it
On launch, but if it's not in UPS's or Fedex's system then it can't be good. There isn't even a label yet.

What I am not seeing is anyone actually saying they are scheduled to get an iphone 6+ on Friday as of yet. Besides one person getting a iphone 6+ 16 gig which isn't as high in demand..
The dates can move around all they want but time is running out.
If I don't received iphone 6+ on Friday and having ordered @ 2:30 am Friday morning.. I am going to be disappointed. If that is case Apple should delayed the release of that model by week or two, instead of going live with only have a few hundred thousand iphone 6+.

So, I ordered an ip6+ 16gb space grey for myself at about 3:03 a.m. and an ip6+ 64 gb space grey a few minutes later for my friend who is also on my family plan. our phones went from both having a 10/31 - 11/11 estimated shipping date( I think, I don't exactly remember the dates) to mine having a 10/2 - 10/13 ship date and my friend having 10/13 - 10/21 ship date. Just checked the ship dates again ( my new favorite hobby) and my friend's was bumped to 10/2 - 10/13 while mine remained unchanged. Anyone else see any new estimates?
Once again, based on previous launches if you are close to a distribution center where they are staging phones, they will not ship to midweek. If it's a one day shipment and on a truck to delivery, there is no need for them to label it yesterday or today just have it sitting there.
(other than start a new string of 'what's wrong with my package, why hasn't somebody done something with it' posts.)

have been sitting at a 10/13 to 10/31 ship date since friday. have now been moved up to a 9/17 to 9/18 ship date
it would make it easier for the rest of us if you would tell us what phone you ordered...so we know if it is a plus or if it is a regular 6......

People, are some of you really gonna stand in line to get a non-guaranteed 6 PLUS and double you're initial investment and wait for a refund and probably a restocking fee to return your AT&T order? If your date is way out and you ordered Friday morning and later, then you should expect this delayed shipment. I can't believe the level of impatience that's displayed in terms of buying two and returning one just to have it sooner.....and you're not even sure if you'll get it! The craziness involved with not getting it on release day is more realized with people who ordered BEFORE and minutes AFTER the 3am EST start time.
Lmao. Just trying to bring some comedy to this thread as everyone, for the most part, seems to be so uptight about this. All we can do is wait or cancel at this point.
