AT&T Pre-order status

Ordered 2 phones with ship date, unchanged, of 9/17-9/18. Still no information and rep on phone said I more than likely won't receive it Friday. Anyone in S. FL in same boat with confirmation of shipment? Iphone 6 64 gb space grey and another gold.
 
does anyone know if I can buy an iPhone at the Apple Store on launch day if my pre-order doesn't ship in time to get here Friday? I realize I'll have to wait and line and may or may not get there in time to snag one, I just want to know if it's worth an attempt. I don't want to wait in line for hours and then be told I can't have one because I've already ordered online.

I tried to make that point to them yesterday. Good customer service would be to get in front of the situation. Plus, it would alleviate many of the chats/calls that are clogging the system if they would simply provide accurate information.

The ATT distribution center (or at least one of them) is only about 4 miles from the FedEx hub in Ft. Worth. You said that you live in Florida. If you live somewhat near Miami/Ft Lauderdale, then your package should fly out Thursday night/Friday morning. There are six trailer loads of iPhones waiting to be sorted sitting out there now.
 
That's different than mine. My upgrade availability went away a few hours after I placed my order. Good 'ole AT&T consistency.

All week long when I logged into MyAT&T it had a notice their was an upgrade available on my line. This morning after getting Fedex shipping info the warning it not here.......

10/31-11/11 Here. no change in dates or shipping since the drop to 11/11 from 11/27. Ordered at 9:30am EST on 9/12.

Oh yeah: Space Gray 6+ 64GB. Nothing showing as backordered.
 
Thanks 28Gauge! Hopefully it ships tomorrow, obviously wouldn't get it Friday if it ships Friday morning.

It is odd that orders that were placed later seem to be shipping first.

I work in the Telecom field albeit in a Business side capacity. This is par for the industry.
 
I believe your card is charged the moment you remove the cellophane wrap on the box.:p

I'm sure it will get there. I can only imagine the crazy volume that AT&T is dealing with at this point. One would think they could get a little more efficient after all these iPhone launches; however, it's probably crazy like this for them every year. Keep your fingers crossed!
 
Quick question, where is everyone seeing the status update time on the AT&T status page? I can't seem to locate it on that screen. Thanks!

Yep, I'm in the same boat. I got my order in to ATT around 3:00 AM on the 12th. It's been saying the ship date is 9/17-9/18 since Monday. It still says Preparing to Ship.
 
West coast of Florida.It will ship Thursday afternoon/evening.

ordered my 6 from att before it went live at 2.
got my tracking info email from fedex and shows friday by 3pm.

also ordered 6plus from apple, that also now shows on my support profile and ups tracking, that as well should be here by friday!
 
Looks like both my 6+ phones were shipped today via FEDEX. They were both expected 10/2-10/13 but looks like they'll be here on launch! woot!
 
Possibilities of iPhone 6 coming sooner?

i ordered a 16gb gold Iphone 6 on 9/15. I got the confirmation email and text message right away. My question is is there any chance my phone will come sooner? The expected shipping dates are 9/24-10/3. I ordered through ATT Next.
