Funny how the complaining shifts from "where is my shipping info" to "wow, I might have to wait till 8PM to get my phone?" Human nature.
Seriously? What business is it to you whether I need to pick my phone up earlier or not. If I was at home I wouldn't care about waiting till 8 PM. Excuse me for wanting something I purchased within a week of purchase. You act like you don't care when yours is delivered although I'm sure if yours didn't show up tomorrow or whenever expected delivery is you would be complaining up a storm. No complaints here just want to not get the runaround from Fed Ex. If that bothers you then don't read.
Got an email from at&t this morning about my order at about 4am, it woke me up and I checked it only to find it out it was confirming my 10/2 - 10/13 shipment date.
Oh well, could definitely be worse though.

I'm in the same exact situation as you. Keep me updated. Starting to irritate me already!
Try searching by phone number (option 2)... that worked for me.. searching by order number lead to dead air.
I ordered from GAP recently and it was FedEx all the way to Denver then they handed it off to USPS and it ended up in my mailbox. Have no idea why it went down that way.
Oh ya I know about it dropping off but I don't think the other person knew.
The emotions right now are crazy. Realize this is just a pre-order and you'll get it when you get it. Consider inventory separate from what they have in stores tomorrow. You always had the choice of doing this the old school way and camping out. I'm not being bitter but if more people cancel (especially the 6+ orders) then that means one more person will take over that spot.
Also, I highly doubt Apple miscalculated production. If this was being made in the U.S., then more than likely there wouldn't be close to the production amount processed overseas. The factory in Brazil has been on strike and is a small factor in production numbers. Also, it's been known for awhile that the plus models would be in short supply even before the official announcement.
Sometimes I think people forget what we already knew and get all crazy due to the waiting/preordering game.
Just wanted to update that early this morning, AT&T sent me an email confirming that my order has shipped and also the status page has updated to Shipped and included a tracking number.
Again, I ordered 6 64GB Space Grey.

Checked tracking on the 6+ and dates have been pushed back to 11/3-12/23.. It was 9/17-19. Anyone else get this?
My guess is that you wont be able to select that option... as it appears AT&T wont allow it.
After receiving that BS second email reiterating the 10/2-10/13 delivery window for my Space Gray 128 GB 6 Plus, I've officially given up any hope of receiving my handset on release day. So much for ordering a few minutes before 12:01am on 9/12. I hope ATT can at least muster enough stock to come through on the earlier side of 10/2 or even next week. What a disappointment.
I think the 866 number is partially a load of crap maybe if you have a Premier account. I purchased my phone through Apple.com (and it has shipped.) I entered my number and it said it shipped. I purchased my wife's phone through ATT. Seems like a long shot that ATT would know if a purchase from Apple has shipped. It doesn't sound right. It's funny, I entered the order number, the system has a little hiccup, and forwards me to a CS rep. Then they forward me to Premier.
It's just ridiculous to see people ragging on us looking for clarification about the 8 PM delivery when people are complaining left and right about their delivery estimate dates. All we are looking for is clarification not for others to tell us we're idiots for not waiting till 8.
I thought it was interesting they had it at 3:00 for residential when I heard about it since that's generally for business addresses.
