Yeah so based on volume of new activations and gross adds they determine what stores are basivally one step above another. standard folks like us couldnt tell a difference but people who work there know the difference.
Where I live there are maybe 5 stores in a 40 mile radius and only 1 is a level 2 and the others get the shaft.

You never had an issue with different shipping dates etc?
Probably knows an employee. You would not know about "level" stores unless you worked there or knew some that worked there. I used to work for at&t back in the day. Pretty much employee lingo.![]()
Ya I am in the same situation. I really hope it comes today without a tracking like some have said happened during other orders. I even woke up 3 hrs earlier to go to two ATT stores just to find out they don't have any IP6+ in stock but may have a shipment later today.![]()

Annoying! I would be happy if they gave me my phone tomorrow too. I just don't want to way till OCTOBER!! Man! This weekend or next weekend would be grand or even a tracking number would be grand!! My hope is they didn't update mine with a tracking number either and it just appears at my door. I'm only doubtful though because I still can't find anything on UPS My choice or Fedex about it..![]()
Fed Ex peoples...Lower right corner of the tracking page where the weight is, can you tell me the dimensions of your shipping box and how many phones you're getting?
So, I'm pretty sure my local AT&T store is not a "level 2" store since they did not have any 6+, 128 Gold phones. I went to the store last night with all my camping gear and was set to camp out until I received word that (1) they most likely didn't have the phones I wanted and (2) it was going to be major ass pain to cancel my pre-order (est delivery is 10/31-11/11) since it involved moving to the NEXT plan. I'll just get back to working on other 1st world issues.

I need a question answered kinda quick before I leave: Does AT&T do the pay to upgrade option in store with the phone trade in ? They trade in the phone online and they make you send a box, does the store swap your phone and let you pay off the remaining installment at all?
All mine look same as alway with the same dates of 10/2 - 10/13 no change.
Are you talking about next? They can take your phone in, in store yes.
Yeah att next pay to upgrade with the trade in of your phone. I'm not talking about the normal trade in, it's the trade in and pay off the remaining payments up till the 12 month point.
I can't believe how bad AT&T messed up their "first come first serve" policy. I got in to order so early that one of my email confirmations is actually dated 9/11. I have ship date of 10/2-10/13. No explanation from anyone or anything. Way to go AT&T, what integrity you have....
