Just went to Best Buy to look at the demo units. The 6+ is HUGE. It was uncomfortable to hold at first. I'm either going to have to get used to the size or trade in for the 6. Anyone know the rules for returns(fee, deadline etc)?

What's weird is I got a text from att saying my order has been processed and has been sent to the warehouse for shipment but, when I call the order status number it says the items in my order are back ordered. :/

Mine was on backorder when I called the 877 number until yesterday around noon. It then changed to "Your order is being processed" when I called. It shipped today around noon and I received tracking email from AT&T shortly after seeing it shipped on the website.

You had me excited.. until I read "Premier customer"... has anyone who isn't a premo customer gotten a tracking number who had the 10/2-13 date? (6+ 64/128?)

I'm a premier customer with a 6+ 64 SLV and no ship yet. I don't think being Premier has anything to do with it.

I got my confirmation at 5:06AM EDT, ordered within the first 30 minutes of preorder official start.

You're welcome to go somewhere else. They have what they have in their inventory.

If they had said "No iPhone 6+ preorders" you would have cried, too.

I've been doing this a long time and this is their worst launch thus far. Also, I tried to go else where, they won't let me cancel though.

14 day return window (Starting from when? Who knows)

$35 restocking fee if opened.

I think it had more to do with when it was inputted in the system rather than when the preorder was completed. This makes the preorder more like a lottery, which defeats the purpose of the preorder in the first place. There were rumors or CSR statements that orders were having to be input manually which is unacceptable for a big corporation like AT&T.

I do think that if you ordered within the first 24 hrs, you will get your phone this week.

Anyone know what happens when you return a phone after just a few days? As far as where they go, what the stores do with them. Wondering if these will be put back into the system for more phones to go on sale.

Apple has failed miserably with this launch. No one that ordered a 6+ form AT&T receive theirs on launch day. Not only that there was NO first come first serve basis. Completely wrong and anarchy. VOMIT.

I know at least 5 people that got their 6+ from AT&T on launch day, but I know several that didn't as well.

I think this is a particularly difficult and unique launch for Apple. I think they knew they had to launch both devices simultaneously but didn't expect the huge 6+ demand.

That being said, I'm not sure I know what Apple should do differently.

I'm not so sure about your last statement. Talking to reps.. didn't leave me very confident.

Here is what they could have done differently...

1) Announce the phone and wait a few weeks. Just a few days makes it difficult for the supplies to build up. Yes, I know they mass produce them well in advance but demand increases each year. Give the stock times to get shipped into the states and to stores.. give people time to get an accurate account of how much stock they have. Mix this with the fact that they were rumored to have production issues... it just makes the lack of phones that much worse.

2) When you say your site will go up at midnight.. don't wait 3 hours. This is what is causing all the issues with AT&T/Verizon. How many people would have ordered from Apple if their site was up on time.. a crap ton more than went to AT&T. Everyone panicked and went to their carries website... thus crashing the system and creating, what I imagine.. was a significantly higher demand for preorders than they estimated. Had the site gone live at midnight I don't think AT&T would have had near the amount of preorders they did and us who ordered around midnight wouldn't be in the situation we are now; in my opinion.

Just received tracking for my 64gb 6 plus gold. Ordered at 2:03am CST confirmation email received around 6:50am CST. Original shipment date 10/2-10/13. Will be here Tuesday at 3:00pm. Hopefully this info will help some with similar times at me!

Same for me, all the reviews and then trying it out in the store made me change my mind... Funny how we've all been obsessing and lost a week of our lives, only to turn around and get the 6 right from our local stores! LOL! Surprisingly, I really LOVE the 6! I thought the 4.7 screen would be too small, as I've been using the Note 3 and am a big fan of big screens, but the 6 screen doesn't seem small at all! It's this perfect combination of good screen size and easy one-handed use. It feels PERFECT in my hand and easy to hold, yet the screen offers a lot more visibility than the 5. I also set my screens on "Zoom," so all my home icons are big and fit the screen better, and all the text in my mail and messages is easier to see (I use to squint when I had my 5, lol!) The battery life is AMAZING, and the camera takes awesome pics - I was one of the few people who could never take a non-blurry pic on the iPhone 5, so I couldn't be happier! I read an article that said if you use your phone for gaming and watching movies/videos, then the 6+ makes more sense, but if you talk, text, email, and browse the web, the 6 is better for that kind of everyday use. I have an iPad and iMac and big ass TV, so if I want to watch a movie or video, those are what I use, rarely my phone unless it's a quick YouTube video. How about you? Are you happy with the 6, too? #

The exact same as you. i'm jumping from my 4s. I wasn't a fan of the 5 series at all. The battery life of course is amazing to me because I switched from a battery i've been using for 3 years and charging 3-4 times a day to this greatness lol. I do watch movies but the screen is more than enough. I mostly text, tweet, and watch videos on youtube. I play games but not for long periods. I'm also in the Army and that phone would not look right on,y hip or moving around in the cargo pockets of my acu's as I carry other equipment and ammo clips in there. I'm a tech geek so I try to have the best and most suitable. The 6 was definitely the way to go.

Wow, I think the 6+ would definitely interfere with National security!! Can't be fumbling for your weapon because your iPHONE is in the way!! Omg, lol! The 6 is def'n more practical and I find nothing about it that is lacking (unlike the 5s which was basically the same as the 5). Glad you're happy, too, and hey, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY. Respect. #

Will get it by the end of the week i think. Ive called 5 times in the last two days and they tell me its on its way. I feel ur pain. Im losing sleep as lame as that sounds lol

Did anyone have to accept any Terms and Conditions if you ordered from Premier? I had a CSR a few days ago ask me that and I was confused. I mean I accepted everything when I submitted my order but she said there was a separate T&C that I was supposed to accept before the order would ship. Hope I didn't miss something. IDK what the crap she was talking about.

It was during the ordering process. You probably did.

Well it's weird because the CSR gave me the site www.att.com/tc which goes to terms and conditions but it looks like its for the NON premier customers because when I go there and put my order information in it says I have no orders and gives me an error. I called Premier today just to see if they could give me any more tracking info and they said my order was complete and processed successfully, just waiting on that stupid Oct2-11 ship date.

I wish my crap would get a move on.
