AT&T Premier Customer:

ordered 6+ 64gb SG on Sept 12 (3.40am). (added a new line to my family plan because the earliest 2 yr upgrade on any of my lines is Oct 4th)

As of Saturday morning, estimated shipping was 10/2 to 10/13. AT&T CSR said I could cancel if I managed to find one in a local store. This was by adding another new line to my plan (separate from the line that was created for the Sept 12 AT&T online order)

Managed to land a 6+ 64gb at apple store on 59th street for in store pick up. Hopped on a LIRR train to make my way into Manhattan, and train had just left the platform when Fedex sent an email about a pending shipment on Monday!

Called AT&T from train who were able to call Fedex and reroute package back to warehouse. Picked up the iphone at Apple store without any hassles, and stopped at my local AT&T store to switch sim cards from my current 5S over to the new phone. Also asked them to remove the data plan from the new line and ensure that the line that was created from the cancelled AT&T online order be immediately deleted. Their systems were unable to handle this part and a ticket was created. CSR has assured that it will be done but may take 10 days due to the additions, cancellation, and late changes. So right now I am paying for 3 data plans when only one is needed. Overall I am pleased but the account administration is a headache. The next 2 billing cycles will be interesting

I literally lost hope for ATT. All these people that got and still getting their tracking numbers before me is ridiculous. My order processed 11:43 PM. That's almost a good 20 minutes before a lot of these folks. Congrats to them but I can't be with a company that doesn't do first come first serve.

Unfortunately, I am a premier member but if I don't get my tracking today, ATT will lose one of its members.

If you can find me some encouragement, anything that absolutely guarantees that my 6+SG16GB is coming today, I will personally give you my current iPhone for you to have as thanks and as frustration.
 
I ordered mine the 12th at 7:08 PM EST...still stuck with 11/11/14 - 11/27/14 dates...I think I will Only get mine in November with the things going this way :(
 
I'm so frustrated. Ordered on ATT's website September 12 3:11am EST. Got confirmation 4:42am in email. Card had the $1 authorization and then the $436 amount (2 year contract price) which stayed on my card for about 4 days. Charges fell off and now my order just says preparing for shipment ever since. No movement. Dates were bumped from Oct-31, Nov11 to the current Oct 2 - Oct 11. It's been that way for days. I call 611 or the 877 number and get item is backordered. AT&T reps of course give me the same info that I can get by checking online. I tried to order through apple's store app but gave up after 3:45am since it wouldn't let me on.

It's frustrating when people who ordered through Premier like me who have later dates already have their phones or their tracking information and I don't. Where in the world is MY phone/tracking info?

I completely agree. The fact that this isn't first come first serve is ridiculous. I don't understand any of their processes. Not even the hospitality of sending the people that are waiting a text saying "thank you for being patient during this time of utter chaos"

Ordered an iPhone 6+ 64GB and received confirmation at 4:34am on September 12. I am a premiere member and my status still says preparing to ship.
 
actually yes, one of my devices delivered from sprint, HOWEVER, I am WAITING on my fiancées phone from At&t. Sucks to be with a bad company huh?

Jerzey! So you ended up getting the 6? The 6+ in person is not at all what I expected, so I went with the 6, too. #
 
Is anyone in my boat ordered 20 min after bell and did not get conf email until 3 hours later on 6+ 64gb grey. Still no tracking updates from 10/2 delivery killing me seeing all these phones getting shipped Monday and Tuesday because of how long it took to get conf am I put later in the line to got mine although I ordered just after midnight?

So frustrated... still sounds like all these premo users are getting their phones..

I ordered right after midnight 6+ 64gb SG and still haven't gotten a tracking number. Went to AT&T when they opened today, was first in line, and was told they didn't get any 6+... was told they haven't received a single one yet.

Also asked them about if they can do AT&T Next orders; for those who have heard they can't... I was told by the MGR in store they can. If I don't get a tracking number today I'm canceling ASA I see Apple has one.

... this is exactly why I stopped refreshing my tracking page days ago. They will shoot you an email when it has shipped. And yes... the spam emails about getting new phones is hilarious timing.
 
I have ordered (Premier customer) 2 iPhone 6 Plus 128 for my wife and me, both ordered completed by 12:15 on 9/12, confirmation email received by 4am that same day... Reading this (and other threads) and I'm baffled by how many people have ordered after me and already received or are about to receive their phone.

ATT says one of the two phones is in backorder and the order "is being processed", current expected shipment dates 10/2-10/13.

I'm not cancelling our orders but sure I will if I can manage to find the phones in store somewhere in my area.

Baffled...
 
Glad some folks are getting tracking numbers. I hope that means I will as well soon. I was online an hour before the preorders started but wasn't able to get through until an hour after it started.
 
I was one of those with the 10/2 to 10/13 delivery dates and I just got an email notifying me of shipment and my tracking number. When I origionally ordered my ship date was mid November but it moved up twice over the last week. I ordered a 128gb Silver 6+
 
Typically, I'd like to know how long after ordering has it taken people to receive shipping tracking numbers for their orders before they actually got their iPhone?

For instance, If you ordered on the 12th, did you get it on Tuesday or Wednesday?

Stuff like this doesn't make sense. Originally placed my order for an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB silver at 3:04 AM EST 9/12, or so I thought. Around 10:30 AM realized I hadn't gotten a confirmation email, logged into my account, no order was in there. On my way to work, stopped at the local AT&T store and preordered at about 11:00 AM EST 9/12. Was given the worst timeframe I've ever seen (11/09/14-11/27/14). Order status went to the "Preparing for Shipment" faze on Tuesday 9/15 and has been at the stage ever since. No bump in delivery date and received an email from AT&T stating it was still planning on delivering during the November timeframe.

Now I've seen multiple people with the same order, who ordered later than I did, get early October windows or have already received their phones.

Will never purchase through AT&T again. I'm a long term customer but this lack of organization and total disregard for the "first come, first serve" action is just plane ridiculous and unnerving. If they cannot get simple preorder correct, I don't see how they are functioning as a company.
 
Not to sound like a jerk... But why don't we all start tweeting to att. I know it won't do anything but at least it will bring some attention. Even if it's a tiny bit.
 
I've been on this thread all week trying to figure out why my preorder for 6+ 128gb Silver was stuck on "pending," "in progress," "preparing for shipment," you know, all those bogus statuses that mean nothing unless you have a tracking number. The only way I was able to find out what was REALLY going on with my order, was by calling att and asking if I could CANCEL my order, or was it too late because it was already in the shipping warehouse. When they told me that I COULD CANCEL because my order had not been processed since 9/12 (after a week of being told my order would be shipped sooner than the 10/2-10/13 window I had), i decided to take my chance at my local att store on launch day and see if they had any 6+'s. They didn't but I had the opportunity to try out the plus, and it was too big, too tall, very awkward to hold and use one-handed even to slide to unlock (and I've been using the Note 3 which has the same 5.5 inch screen and the 6+ is actually BIGGER because of the face plates on the top and bottom), so I ended up getting the 6 128gb in silver and waited a total of 4 minutes before I was helped (this was on launch day at 2pm, and I live in a biggish city), so att's mess with the preorders worked to my advantage, because I ended up with the 6 which suits me better, and I got great customer service and the store was calm and organized. Bottom line, if you call att and they tell you you can CANCEL your preoder, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking out stores in your area and try out the 6+ in person (if that's the phone you ordered), and see if you like it. No harm done, take a chance, I ended up canceling my preorder in the store while I was buying the 6, totally smooth transition, I'd still be waiting for the 6+ otherwise, which ended up not working for me at all (again, was using the Note 3 so I'm comfortable with big screens). Please try the stores and end your suffering!!
