Still stuck on the same crap here...
I'm wondering if there is a system glitch or something and my phone is just lost in the system..
I ordered on the 12th 15 mins after it went on sale... got email on the 12th all was good... later in the morning got email that my CC info was not right... fixed that an hour later... all within the early hours of the morning..
been stuck on 10/2 shipping Date.... Just says "Preparing to ship" and has not Changed since...
even got a damn tracking number sent to me early this week that was for last years iPhone 5s!! wtf?
what a shame... they have pretty much killed all excitement for this phone for me... and also I have a feeling i will not be able to sell my 5s For the same price I would have if I would have gotten the 6 plus on day 1...
I'm looking at tmobile and it seems like the bill is cheaper and all my friends did not have this Problem... its going to come down to if ATT removes the 40 dollar charge from my account... if not i think I will have to change from There to Tmobile... I just feel too angry about this to not do anything..

I'm a premier customer. I ordered 128 SG within minutes of website coming online. my est shipping date eventually said 10/2 to 10/13. I complained using online chat help last monday. 5 minutes later I checked my status and my order was cancelled by that bastard without my permission. I've called support multiple times daily since then and all they can do is tell me the escalation ticket is in progress. I gave up and ordered a phone from swappa.com. it should be unlocked. bye ATT.
They all say preparing to ship while in backorder. Since you ordered a regular 6 (non plus) you shouldn't have to wait long.
One of my friends ordered a regular 6 SG through the retention department last wednesday and he had it in his hands on friday. I anticipate you will get yours pretty soon.
It is folks like me with the 6+ orders who are waiting seemingly endlessly for the phones to ship. I know it is a 1st world problem ;-)

I'm waiting on a 128gb SG 6+ as well, ordered 12:45am PST on the 12th, non-premier with order number starting with 1626. Stuck at 10/2 - 10/13 no movement, 877 # says backordered and online says preparing to ship. Same since the first couple days.

So after getting the run around from AT&T I ended up going to Target to get my iphone 6+. I originally preordered the SG 16gb + but ended up going with the gold 64gb +. I have my phone in my hand and I will never preorder from AT&T again. This was truly a learning experience.

Thanks!! You should definitely check it out. Also ask your local target when they are getting a new shipment in. I know my local target is expecting a shipment in tomorrow.
Preparing To Ship is the nice way of saying backordered. The 877 # will change to "Processing", and then, finally to "Shipped" with a tracking #. Processing to Shipped typically takes about 24-48 hours. I've seen as short as 3 hours, and as long as 2-3 days. For me, it was about 20 hours.

yeah i dont think anything is going to be happening with my order anytime soon. It's been a week and still on "backorder". iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray.

I ordered a 6+ on 9/12 @3am. I thought I would get my phone by the release date ( won't do that again). So i posted my iphone5 on ebay for $300. It sold in 5 minutes. So I had to mail my iphone5 now I'm having to use my old iphone3 until I get my new 6+. Gosh I sure miss my iphone5. My order still says preparing to ship. Waiting not very patiently!!!
