AT&T Pre-order status

AT&T website preorder 9/12/14 3:56am Central iPhone 6 plus GOLD 64GB got an email immediately after estimated ship date 10/13/14-10/31/14 A few days later revised to 10/2/14-10/13/14. Stayed like that until Saturday 9/28/14 I got a congratulations text your phone has shipped, it is currently on the FedEx truck out for delivery:), just thought I would update everybody
 
9/29 am update, leaving China, estimated delivery 10/1:

so I have been looking into Tmobile as I'm just tired of Att and after all this .. I feel that I want to change carriers... besides the plans are cheaper compared to what I have at the moment..

Does anyone know what would happen if i waited for att to send me my 6 plus and then went to Tmobile to have them pay the ETF and used the 6 plus as a trade in ?

Would i be then billed for the full price by ATT ?

I am not a Next customer
 
got mine

ordered mine iphone 6 on ATT site on line on Sept 18 got email saying a aprox date Oct 15 to 21 suprise on Sat got a text from ATT to say it was shipped and sure enough FedX van just dropped it off

So there is hope out there its a 6 with 64 gigs
 
That gives me hope! Ordered on the 19th.

just an update from what I have found out. I talked to a CSR at about 11:30 today to call about my bill and out of curiosty. I asked about my preordered iphone 6P 128g gold (2) of them ordered one at 3:02 and other at 3:46 on the 12th 10/2-13 ship dates on both phones.

This CSR was awesome and told me that my two iphones would be shipped out on the 2nd, and that there is going to be a mass shipment to everyone on the 2nd and the 14th. he also said that they were told this yesturday afternoon. i hope he is right and if so we only have a couple day left for the frustration. I hope this helps and eases some of you about your Iphones.

A little update. I called the 877 said it was on backorder like it has been for the past week. Called the 866 number and it changed from "you order has been processed and sent to our warehouse for shipment" to "one or more items in your order is temporarily out of stock". :(

Not doubting what you were told but I suspect of a mass shipment. They are loading ~195,000 iPhones per flight and I wouldn't think they would cache them someplace to release in bulk other than for the original release.

Ugh, I ordered through Apple on 9/17 (gray/64 GB on AT&T). Was suppose to be here on 10/1, that just slipped to 10/3. This is coming via UPS as non-pre-order Apple Store orders apparently get the slow-boat treatment.

Not happy about it. :(

I just don't get how i pre-ordered the day of and i got the latest shipping date. People who are buying today are getting my date. Complete BS!

not sure what the size difference is between a 777 and 744, but I'd safely assume 195k units is a conservative number, if Apple exclusively chartered each one of those planes.

I have 11/09/14 - 11/27/14, ordered through my rep through Premier on launch day.

Man I hope that's true. Sort of unusual for CSR's to have any real info (sadly...) but at this point I'll grasp at any straw!
 
Has anyone else had a problem with their tracking number? I got my email and text from AT&T at noon on Saturday that my phone had been shipped through UPS. Every time I go to track it the website says it can't find the shipment or the order. It's been over 48 hours, starting to get worried. Anyone else have to wait 3 days before tracking information showed up?
