Hi all, just thought I would add another data point...

128 SG 6 ordered yesterday, 10/13 through AT&T (premier), given 10/22-10/31 est. shipping dates.

Woke up this morning to a shipping notification, delivery is 10/15.

So, if nothing else, it looks like AT&T has 128 SG 6's :D

We ordered the right ones :)

I ordered iPhone 6 Space Grey from a local AT&T store 2 weeks ago on October 1. Called the store and they said all they know is it hasn't shipped yet.

Where is everyone seeing their expected ship dates? You think I'll get my phone anytime soon?

How many GBs?

Yes, they do, indeed, seem to have the 6, just not 6+. I talked to a CSR over a week ago and she told me I could get my phone earlier if I switched to the 6, but I said I want what I ordered, the 6+.

According to AT&T that phone has a longer shipping date than the 128 GB SG - Iphone 6 but it's kind of hard to know what to believe because people who just placed orders this past weekend have shipped devices. I hope your phone ships soon.

Thanks!!

I just wish there was some kind of definite date. Or even expected

I just checked the order status page. Mine had been in perpetual "Preparing to Ship" September 16th with an estimated ship date of 10/31-11/11

Today, it reads "Preorder Processing"

I ordered the 128GB SG iPhone 6 plus on the 12th of September.

Since att warehouse is a zoo run by monkeys. They must have said "less people ordered the 128gb model so let's make sure we have plenty of those, while a bunch of people ordered 16gb and 64gb lets just take our time ordering those and make people wait for iphone 6 like they're waiting for 6+ models and make ourselves look bad"

is that the problem, regionalized distribution centers vs centralized.
for example, i'm in atlanta. if my local distributer is out, i sit and wait until they get one in the warehouse vs getting from somewhere else in the county?

Argh.

Page off of AT&T's main web page tells me "Preparing to Ship" with one order number

A different order status page tells me "Preorder Processing" with a completely different order number

the 877 number gives me the cheerful female voice telling me my item is on back order.

I really wish I could get a straight answer. It would make the wait that much less annoying.

Um I'm not 100% but all carrier stores won't have stock till all this debacle is over. Which would probably be December. Apple stores get their shipments directly from China same if you order online from Apple. Ordering from carrier stores the warehouses are the ones who get the shipments from China then ships to ups/fedex/usps. It's just all f&*!ed up. Sure Apple has fault but att imo is probably doing the worst of all carriers getting people their iphone6. All carriers have 6+ delay times that's because not many were produced. For some people their local target has more stock then the att store high makes absolutely ZERO sense to me.

It's not just the delay, it's the complete disregard of preordered phones not getting shipped, but post launch date orders getting shipped.:mad:

I feel for the preorder people a lot of preorder issues happened with tmobile as well but most of those got taken care last week.

I also feel for the iPhone 6 people who ordered in September and are still waiting. It amazes me people ordered within the week and got shipping emails already regardless of the model.

Also what you guys should do is really give hell to the executive rep team and demand answers and compensation for waiting and waiting and waiting.

help

Ive posted this before but did anyone order on store launch date from AT&T?
64gb Iphone 6 plus sg? with a ship date of Nov 2-27?

The wait time is getting ridiculous, other carriers are fulfilling orders faster and I don't understand why.
I had to sell my 5 to AT&T before the prices dropped and got stuck using a blackberry that doesn't even work as well.

That's what I've been telling CSR's at AT&T. All I want is information regarding my order -- they can't give a straight answer since they don't know, either. It's like they are intentionally kept in the dark, too. Maddening.

That said, when I call, I'm always calm, and never agitated. I simply want to manage my expectations, which is a herculean task, at best...

Save yourself the headache and just go by what the 877 # tells you. After your status changes from "back ordered" to "processing", expect a shipping confirmation within 24-48HRS after that. I'm in back order hell as well and feel your pain. Also, whatever shipping estimates you're getting from the ATT site, it's a high probability that it's legit, as supplies of the 6 + are really that low.

If the supplies of the 6+ are *really* that low, why then are people that ordered after launch date getting the same phones that have people sitting in preorder limbo?

I called AT&T order management to get a straight answer (plus to find out why I was given 2 order numbers) 7 minutes into a hold that was supposed to be no longer than 10 minutes, the phone disconnected.

Trust me, the more I think about it the more frustrated I get too. Every other carrier has been able to come through with devices except for AT&T. I was pretty much convinced AT&T was picking orders out of a hat. That "first come first serve" order is complete BS and calling and speaking to a CSR is pointless, as they are just as clueless as we are. My advice, hang in there. If you can't wait, cancel your order in hopes of securing an in-store pick up (supplies are running low on that as well depending on the model). I thought of doing that, but I've held out for this long that I'm currently in my shipping window now (est: 10/13 - 10/22).

iPhone 6 Plus, 128 GB, Space Gray, ordered 9/12 at 8:05 AM EDT.

Website still shows 10/13 - 10/22

877 number still says "backordered"

No phones still under contract. If AT&T doesn't get it right, then October 29th will be my last day with AT&T. My bill is due on 10/23/2014 but the period ends 10/29/2014. Conveniently, one day after the last day on the shipping date window.

Verizon wants to keep its customers. It has compensated some with bill credits and service upgrades for this delay. We are a month after release date and we don't have our iPhones. This isn't how you treat loyal customers. At least not if you want to keep them. "It takes months to find a customer, seconds to lose one."

Yep. While I don't blame att completely in this matter this will be my last "contract" with them. Att is oblivious to any customer concerns. If I wasn't forced to be with them due to contract I would be gone right now. The biggest thing I am pissed about is after preordering, seeing people who ordered after me whether before or after 9-19 getting the same phone I ordered. That alone will be why I leave att ASAP.

I am currently in my shipping window as well and I am toying with the idea of canceling the order if it exceeds the window, and staying with my 5s.

My 5s is barely three months old and factory unlocked from the Apple Store, not a bad device to be "stuck" with.

Why would you feel compelled to upgrade a three month old phone?

Why would you feel compelled to upgrade a three month old phone?

Good question:

I did have some logic behind it. I had a 18 month old 5 that I was very happy with and perfectly content to skip the 5s, but back in July I started having problems with the sleep/wake button and the Apple Store offered me a new 5s for $350 and I took it. I should have declined it and had them fix my 5 instead.

Anyway, I wanted to get back on some kind of an annual cycle to avoid premature hardware failure, and decided to go for the 6. But I am not compelled to upgrade and won't lose any sleep if I end up staying with my 5s.

I know there's a Apple warehouse/distribution that (think) covers the southeastern US in Nashville and we haven't delivered a mass shipment since 9/15-9/16, which were iphones that were turn around and sent out to stores for the 9/19 launch date.

If you still using the iPhone 5 there is a "recall" on certain iPhone 5 that they replace this free of charge. They give you a loaner til it's repaired and sent back to Apple.

Go to Apple website and and search for iPhone 5 wake/sleep button (think) under the Support section

AT&T Pre-order status

Thanks, I don't have my 5 anymore. That's what I traded in to upgrade to the 5s for $350. Supposedly they gave me a higher trade in price for it due to the recall, $400 as opposed to $300.
