haven't been able to check my status all day

i did get a email at 11am with this...

You can still check order status if you go to that URL with an iPhone (or any mobile?).
 
Is there any premier customer who didn't get the 14-21 day email?

Also, if anyone calls customer service, try to find out when your order was processed. My order was placed at 7:59 AM and my order was processed at 4:01 PM, which is their reason for me getting that email. I have a feeling that they did this for all premier customers and had their system automatically bump us to 4:01 PM, which is exactly one minute after the supposed 4:00 PM cutoff deadline.
 
My Original email confirmation indicates a October 14th delivery.

Even so, my online status shows 14-21 days like everyrone else.

To make things even worse, AT&T premier somehow they listed my old address ( changed it 6 years ago), on my confirm email. Customer service could not access the system last night, hopefully they will see it when I call today.

The regular site shows my new address, there must be more than 1 record. I am not going to be happy if they try to ship to my old address or if changing my address delays my shipment.

Does anyone know if I can change my address of the existing order?
 
An someone post the link to where they can see the delivery date? My conf.email says delivery by 10/14 but I see no dates when I check order status
 
Just like everyone else, my AT&T email said it will be delivered by October 14th, but the Premier site said the 14-21 days timeframe. I haven't been able to get to the Premier site since yesterday afternoon because it now says's under maintenance.

My card has been charged by AT&T for the new iPhone now, and I think I recall the Premier site saying I wouldn't be charged until it actually shipped. So if I remember correctly on that, my new iPhone is en route, although I haven't received a shipping email confirmation yet.

ATT will screw you on this because that is who they are. I REALLY did not want to order from them, but I had to because the apple website did not give me the option of retaining unlimited data.

Same thing I logged in and it says SHIPMENT STATUS: BackOrdered ?
Did receive an email stating that I will receive it est. Delivery of the 14th
 
I think they put 14-21 days on the email just in case. These things always ship before they are promised. Now, if it shipped after this promised time, people would be livid. And if it ships before (like it will), people will be signing the praises of AT&T.

They are showing my old address from 8 years ago too! Trying to get it fixed now.
 
My email confirmation says expected delivery October 14th. Website still says backordered; preordered items ship in 14-21 days. I just called AT&T. Worst customer service call ever. End result, rep said it will be delivered 10/14. Do I trust his answer? No.

My rep said,"If the phone was ordered before 5:30 you can expect it on 10/14."

Then I said, "Ok, thanks. Didn't order until 6:30am est on Friday so I guess I am not getting it on the 14th."

Rep said, "You can expect it on 10/14 your order was placed before 5:30 pm on Friday."

We will see.

I ordered at 4:51PM EDT on Friday on Premiere. Email says 14-21 days. Can't check the order status because the page has been down since last night.

I only got my e-mail I ordered and no delay one!
Now I want to cancel since my Apple order went through as well.
I got 2 phones coming on one line ? But At&T is not canceling or they have no clue how!

I had the same issue so I chatted with a customer rep who confirmed my current shipping address. He also confirmed that my current unlimited data plan still applied for the eligible upgrade even though I wasn't given the option when I ordered.
 
I ordered around 5:30 am on October 7th - I am confident my order will arrive on 10.14

I had the exact same issue, my email showed an address from 8 years ago. I called and they confirmed it was being shipped to my current billing address.

I think you'll be fine. That is a weird glitch though, wonder how many other folks experienced this? Glad I wasn't the only one.

Called and talked to rep. They confirmed they are shipping to my current address and not the one 8 years ago.

You really need to get this resolved soon. If you have two orders against the same phone number you a very likely to have both cancelled just like last year.

Yes, there were a very few cases where customers received both phones but that was the exception to all the customers that reported here that both of their orders were cancelled and they lost their place in the pre-order queue and they were not very happy.

Did you see a hold on your credit card from Apple and AT&T? If not then both orders did not really go through. Apple has to validate with AT&T before they can complete your order and ship the phone.

5 of us but I made certain my shipping was my real address while ordering I have moved quiet often

Only Apple has a hold that is why I cancel AT&T's or tried. I have no clue what else to do I got the run a round phone tag all yesterday (no weekend calls either) and I went to the store ! Which that was not my local store! That is my biggest fear both get canceled. I also can not log in my account with AT&T online !

Your card has not been charged. Only a hold has been place to verify that the amout requested would be funded. Same thing happend last year. Your card will be charged just before the iPhone 4S ships. It is one of the last steps in the process. Depending on your card you may also see an additional $1.00 hold before or after the full amount. This is the validation step required by some cards. The iPhone 4S units are still at the factory getting a fresh load of iOS 5.

The first waves should ship Tuesday night in the US (Wednesday morning in Shenzhen China) for direct delivery. Last year AT&T devices were bulk shipped from Shenzhen China to one of the AT&T distribution hubs and then shipped overnight for delivery on launch day. Yes there were reports of lucky customers getting their iPhone 4 a day early from Apple or AT&T. Hey last Feb. some Verizon customers got their's early too.

The biggest issue last year was for customers that were using Debit cards was in some cases the Hold and then the charge both hit and there were not enough funds to cover both.

I had the same issue. After multiple times of calling them they said that it was a system issue and confirmed that it would be shipped to the correct address.
