has anyone tried to turn it off and back on after it is enabled, It tells me to call att again. If i restart the phone again, it re enables!

Restarted my phone and sure enough "Cellular Data" was toggled for me.

I live in Massachusetts, for those tracking.

No go with a 4S on unlimited data with reboot or hard reset in Knoxville, TN.

Nothing there either! This is very odd, especially because I remember there being an option at some point. Perhaps iPhone 4 has had this hard-coded out somehow?

I've got:

Cellular Data
Enable 3G
Data Roaming
Set Up Personal Hotspot

Use Cellular Data for:
iCloud Documents
iTunes
Passbook Updates
Reading List

Dude, Facetime over cellular ONLY works on iPhone 4S, 5 and iPad 3rd Gen and up

No luck here in Jacksonville, FL. 3 hard and 2 soft resets.

iPhone 4S, 3 GB Tiered

Finally, AT&T has extended the coverage to all customers, but I already decided to switch to T-Mobile because AT&T's prices are just unbelievably expensive.

I am in Haines City.. about 30 miles from you and mine is working now. Must be still rolling out with it!

I'm in Orlando and it isn't working for me either...Must be rolling in from the South!

To add some more details...I've got a family plan with 4 devices, 3 with unlimited data and 1 with a 2GB limit. 3 of them are iPhone 5, one in a 4. Unlimited on 2 of the 3 iPhone 5 plus on the 4. I've only tried on 1 iPhone 5, with multiple resets and turning on and off FaceTime, all to no avail.

Not working.
Even after a couple hard resets.

"Use cellular data" remains OFF, and switching it produces the blue "Call AT&T about FaceTime over Cellular" popup.

iPhone 4S
DataPro 2GB for iPhone 4S - $25/mo
NYC

No dice, restarted my phone and nothing. The switch was actually enabled for like 2 seconds then it switched off.

same for me... actually called ATT and they said it was not available for 4s on grandfathered unlimited plan... They did say their policy changed on November 9th, but would not elaborate how it changed.

I do know my '4G' bandwidth in Minneapolis is pretty much saturated. That may be a factor in facetime service areas..

I'm in Davenport, still not working for me. Have you actually used it and/or confirmed that it is still on after waiting a while after reset?

Very cool!

I looked at my settings this morning here in central New Jersey, my switch was Off... but I simply restarted my phone and ta-dah! It's now automatically switch to On! :)

Now let's hope they don't force it back to Off next time we reboot!

(FYI I am AT&T on unlimited data since the first iPhone)

Works great for me!

I'm right across the river from Manhattan in Jersey City and works great for me after rebooting my iPhone 5. I'm grandfathered in on unlimited LTE. Man am I glad I never switched to a tiered plan given that FaceTime calls suck up about 5MB per minute! (call log shows amount of data used per FT call once call is completed)

It's seems like it may not have rolled out Denver. My phone and my wife's phone isn't working yet. Both iPhone 5's

Worked for me as well, for about 10 minutes, then back?

Highway robbery from AT&T

While I never would've paid for it, I was excited about it because it was going to be essentially free. I've got an iPhone 5 w/ Data Pro LTE 5GB w/ Hotspot, restarted/reset my phone numerous times last night and this morning. Still doesn't work. I'm in the Washington DC area. Anyone else have this same hardware/dataplan configuration that is working? I'm wondering if I need to call AT&T.
