Calm down. The iPhone insurance isn't required. It's an added service. If you don't want it, you don't pay for it.
Not a big deal.
I was/am calm, And yes it is a big deal.
I just think its retarded that you have to pay a monthly fee ontop of paying a deductible as well.
I am glad i do not own a iPhone ( cant stand AT&T) if and when they have it on another service then i might bite.
A monthly fee should be all you have to pay. or just pay a deductible if your iPhone bites the bullet not both.
I see AT&T getting more money hungry every year. You Pay AT&T a monthly fee to have another company replace the phone for a deductible, thats just wrong by any standards.
Your monthly bill ($100+, and then the protection plan $14 a month, plus what ever else charges AT&T plan to throw your way) should be enough to just issue you a replacement. From this they have to face people just dropping them altogether and go to a different company that wont put it to you in both holes.
Many Cell providers only have you pay a deductible (price depends on the phone) if your phone eats it. not a fee and a deductible.
Waaaaaa I have an option to insure my phone, with no obligation, and its too expensive. Its not good enough. I could buy a new one. ****. If you don't think its worth it, don't buy it. Quit whining you f****** bitches. ATT's deductible is way to high, but BB's plan isn't too bad, 12.99/ mo, anything other than lost of theft covered, sounds good to me.
ok then pay the monthly fee to AT&T and then be forced to pay the deductible (which happens to be close to the price you payed for your phone when you got the service in the first place) what can you not see that's wrong with this.
Its nice to have the option (that should have been available since they had the iPhone). you should not have to pay both a monthly fee and a deductible at the same time. If you really want to boil the numbers you are paying a crap load more for the replacement then just buying a brand new iPhone yourself.
go ahead and buy into the crap they are trying to trick you into believing. With allot of other Cell companies all you have to do is pay a deductible (which is only a fraction of the price of the phone) with no added monthly fee.
