Where do you go to check this? Can't find it anywhere and don't see the discount for having unlimited plus or for the HBO?

I saw this in the myATT app. When I looked at my DIRECTV service details, I saw the service and the discount as details towards my monthly bill.

I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile when the $100 for 2 line One plan was announced. It trounced anything AT&T offered on every feature. Now that they've offered the "Plus" plan the features are more in line, but AT&T's plan is still $45 per month more than T-Mobile's.

I'm probably missing something, but free HBO just doesn't seem worth it.

I don't think you are... if T-Mobile service covers you everywhere you need to be... then you can take that 45 dollar savings, drop 15 of it on HBO Now, and still sit 30 bucks ahead. T-Mobile really is a great value. AT&T is becoming one as well, but through vertical integration... both have benefits.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking this. Granted my fiancée and I love the original content and movies on HBO, but not so much that I would switch back to AT&T after I ported over to T-Mobile a couple months ago. We'll stick with the "free" HBO we're getting for a year through Xfinity (we primarily just utilize the HBO Go app on our ATV's).

If you're a baseball fan, then I feel the free year of MLB.TV Premium is definitely a steal.

I am jealous of the MLB.TV package T-Mobile gave it's people for sure...I know Verizon has the NFL locked up but sports would have been a more equivalent offering from AT&T to compete with T-Mobile, not HBO. People watch sports on the go all the time anyway and love of sports is practically universal in America...how many times do you see people waiting in a line watching Game of Thrones or whatever the heck HBO even shows (I used to think they were the Sopranos 24-7 network) on a 4" screen?

Just signed up for this.

I currently have DirecTV at home without HBO.

My questions,

Will I get HBO through DirecTV or only HBO GO/NOW?

Does watching HBO count against your data?
Everything on the DirecTV iPhone app currently doesn't, correct?

Thanks.
