They do not. When you get the tracking info you will see it says weekday delivery only.

I don't know where you are, but both UPS and FedEx deliver on Saturday here in the U.S.
Every year this happens...lots of "In Progress" all the way to Thursday night then, boom! they all start flipping to "Shipped".
One year, both of my iPhones showed "In Progress" even AFTER they were delivered on Friday haha!!
Since I've started ordering directly through AT&T I've never had an iPhone not show up on Delivery Friday.

This post prompted me to check my FedEx account and sure enough I now have a tracking number. Info was sent to FedEx as of 9:14 CST this morning and it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Hope it moves tonight so I can request a hold at location since I gotta go to the FedEx store tomorrow anyway to drop off/pick up a couple packages.
Absolutely, they deliver in TN on weekends as well. However, ATT puts a note on the shipment for weekday delivery.
Well, I took the advice of an earlier poster, who suggested FEDEX is not the only carrier to look at.
So just before midnight I check my UPS account. Sure enough a label had been created and was awaiting pickup. Today ATT website still indicates:

Another thing I did learn, from UPS site, is that shipment is overnight, and an "estimated" delivery for tomorrow.I guess I'll see if the "stars align" and we all actually see the new phone tomorrow!
It’s always 100% until it’s not. I was in same position, never a late delivery for a preorder. Until I had one late, then I lost confidence.
No, if for some reason it was delayed, FedEx will keep it until Monday. They will not attempt on Saturday even if they are already coming to your house. I hope it’s not that way everywhere but that is how it has been for TN deliveries for the past several years.
You know, if your device is close enough at a distribution area, they may not even need to move it until the last few hours for your local hub to receive and deliver. People that got tracking already may have needed their phones shipped farther from a distribution center for final delivery so it is actually moving now.
These people in the call centers are not on site with the phones and sit at a cubicle while waiting for people in warehouses to scan and move products. Not hard to understand and not that absurd.

iPhone 13 pro max 512gb gold finally got shipment info from Fedex (nothing on ATT site yet). Shows it’s been picked up today with an estimated delivery of tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
Silver now finally says “preparing to ship” and cancel option is no longer available. No tracking yet.
One of mine shipped, the other is still in progress with the ship range you mentioned.
Now that I recall in the years I did AT&T orders they did update overnight last minute. I’ve never had a delay.

Yes. Ordered late Saturday & finally woke up to an email that my order shipped today. They included a ups tracking number, but it’s not even in ups’ system yet
