It’s a no go to contact AT&T on twitter. Someone from their social media team actually called me but told me they can’t help expedite iPhone orders at this time I would need to get in contact with a supervisor 🙃
I'm trying contacting at&t support via Twitter. I'll let you guys know if it works. Btw I ordered way after u guys so I'll definitely let you guys know since y'all been waiting longer.

That's what I was worried about, I used to work for Att a while ago and remember seeing this happen too many times. And even happened once before to me, I realized after the first bill after upgrading I was on 2 plans. It sucks and I'm sorry you're dealing with it right now. It used to be that they literally just push a button on one system and it resets.
Yeah I’ve had a few issues with AT&T but they’ve usually fixed them quickly. Luckily I was just able to get an order in for in store pick up for tomorrow at an Apple store.

I’m really enjoying the phone. I wasn’t able to fully operate the phone until this morning due to some hiccups on AT&T’s end with the new SIM card shipped inside of the phone. AT&T never fails to disappoint. So basically I couldn’t fully operate my phone from 7pm yesterday until 8am this morning. I contacted AT&T by chat and rep guranteed the issue was resolved, however this was not the case. I called AT&T this morning and spoke with a rep. I mentioned the great inconvenience AT&T has continuously caused throughout this whole experience. The rep resolved the problem by updating my IMEI and ICCID numbers in their system and issued another generous bill credit, in the amount of $40.

Is the SIM in the phone you got a DUMMY card?

My shipping receipt said it was SIM DUMMY.

Don't know if that means it is not programmed or actually a non working card, but I did end up putting two lines on my phone through eSim.

That is correct. The order slip read “DUMMY CARD.” I figured it was either not programmed or a non working card also. However, I checked under “Settings”…GENERAL”…”ABOUT”…..under “AVAILABLE SIM” there was a sim number. I called AT&T after activation issues/lack of service and a rep activated the sim or esim over the phone. Also, I didn’t bother opening the slim slot to check out the “DUMMY CARD.”

return box or for trade in? I was only sent one a couple days later...and just ended up trading in store
I kept seeing mixed messages about trading it in per their instructions (via mail, where they could indiscriminately claim your phone was in poor condition) or in the store (not allowed, or the credits won't process right).

I got my 4 iPhones by Monday 9/27 to my front door, and noticed the 4 trade-in return kits in my mailbox the next day. I rushed to the post office (making sure I put the right iPhone with the right kit).

3 out of 4 just got marked delivered today (the other should be shortfully too hopefully). On AT&T's site, they're all "In Transit". Hopefully they process and confirm by the end of next week.

Anyone had recent experience with how long it takes AT&T to confirm the trade-in and process credits once delivered to them?

Classic AT&T! I received an email from AT&T indiciating my “device” which I already have, has shipped as of 09/26. The order status has been updated to “shipped” as well.

Ordered my 13 Pro from AT&T on 9/29 after my preorder was backorderd and canceled at Apple. Shipped ups yesterday got it before lunch today 10/1. So not all bad at AT&T this time.

I figured out since the 4 that I have better l luck ordering the “S” years from AT&T and the other years from Apple. This year I forgot the 13 was basically an “S”.

I am still debating if I want to keep the Pro or go back to to the mini. Ordered a 13 mini from Apple and should get it Tuesday.

The 13 Pro Max is a fantastic device, love the ProMotion display, love the 6.7 Inch display, feels bigger, and more luxurious, like premium.

Any issues with those who got the 13PM in 1TB, have you got yours yet? Mine came the 27th.

Mini is way too small for me, with the way my eyes are, and my issue with getting nauseated easily, I had to go with the biggest screen. I had a 6 as my first iPhone for 3 days, took it back due to nausea & my eyes bugging out, now I'm 37, just can't have a small phone. But for those who want a smaller device, the Mini is a great option.

I hear ya. I had the 6+, 7+, a OnePlus 7 Pro and other androids, until the iPhone 12 mini.

The mini had its advantages but couldn’t last a whole day after about 4 months. Also that thing would almost burn my hand reading macrumors forum posts for a few minutes - on dark mode.

Apple is shipping me a 13 mini next week but I think I’m keeping the 13 Pro. It’s only been a day but I am pretty much used to the size and weight. Just need to find a good case as I typically go caseless or with the most minimalistic case like Totaleee and others. I probably should look at Pitaka.

You should look into the Apple Leather Cases for the 13 Pro. I have the midnight case on my 13PM Graphite. It looks nice. The case is dark blue but sometimes it appears black, depending on the lighting.

yes i saw the same on other forums and reddit etc about the authorized store vs company store. I was lucky that mine didnt argue or push back although the store was understaffed that day. What shouldve taken like 15mins tops took almost an hour since he had to help others simultaneously.

I verified on the receipts and printouts that it showed the $1000 trade in and that the condition was marked correctly. They stated 3 billing cycles although its usually just a month or two.

Good idea. I also have the graphite I had an Apple leather case before and like the grippy texture and preferred it over their silicon cases but they wear away so much after less than a year.

Also, the wear on the leather cases actually make the case look better over time….

Also love the petina of leather but given what my iPhone 13 Pro Max Graphite 512GB costs, putting it a slim, protective case. Rocking the iPhone silicone cases until I can order the Simply Carbon Fiber Armor series case.
Ahhhh thats understandable. The silicon case look great, but i dislike the feel of the case. It’s a bit too ”slippery” for my liking. However, to each it’s own.
