Tomorrow?

I just visited "vaja cases" (their site is entirely in flash, so don't try to check it out on your iPhone). But when I selected iPhone 8g/16g, you can see the 3G product link appear and then disappear quickly.

this is all very exciting, and i really hope its released very soon, as in this week. But what about the whole thing about Apple ordering the iPhone for some at the end of May and lots from June onwards? And the AT&T holiday block out? These things just make June the likely time, but then this new news makes it seem earlier!
So confusing!

Just tried that. The menu:
iPhone 8GB/16Gb
iPhone 3g

Clicking the 3g link redirects to a form that says:

"Sign up for the upcoming release of our Apple iPhone 3G cases.

Fill the following fields and be the first to be notified when the cases are released."

Interesting.

Random

I apologize for the random question, but can anyone tell me wtf this is >>

Also, how can I get rid of it?

iPhone timing: Graduation and Father's Day

I have always thought Apple would be very smart to release the next iPhone early because both graduation and Father's Day will be huge selling opportunities for them. There are always going to be those who buy the latest gear because it's the latest gear but most consumers are looking for a reason to buy something. Getting Dad and/or your grad the latest tech gadget is one of the best reasons available. After that, it's people getting them for themselves just because they want one.

Also, it will allow SJobs to talk more about the SDK, new Macs and OSX 10.6 at the WWDC.

It'll be interesting to see if that ends up being the official name of the next gen iPhone. Differentiating the product line by color... like Johnny Walker.

if that's the case .. i'd hold out for the blue label

And I suppose there could be a 1.1.5 that adds 3G functionality, it doesn't necessarily have to wait for 2.0.
Pretty sure that 3G functionality requires an actual 3G radio, something the current iPhone does not have.

So while current non-3G iPhones will be able to use the 2.0 software, they will not be any faster surfing the Internet than they are now.

Like I mentioned in a previous post.

Apple is Opening one of it's Largest Retail Stores in Boston on Thursday Night.

I say they release the iPhone tomorrow, and release it Thursday at 6pm everywhere, but Coinciding with this store release would be just great :D

There is a SIMPLE conclusion in case the iPhone is released next week or the other...there is NOT gonna be another iPhone release at WWDC.

Instead, Apple is going to release the fabled iTablet with full multitouch support and OS X, nothing else.

MARK MY WORDS...

I think tomorrow we will see exactly the same iPhone, but with a 3G... and June 9th fresh designed iPhone 2 with a gps. For me it make sense. Otherwise there is no point just to discontinue this model ...

I don't have an iPhone yet, but my question is...

Why would it matter if you select an iPhone or Black iPhone color wouldn't change your service...

Would apple really release this quietly? Me thinks not, especially if it turns out to have GPS. Its definitely to their advantage to do an event and by now they may have many more SDK made apps they can demo to show off what is great about the new version.

If it does come early, I doubt it'll be tomorrow. And also, all the June pointers are still strong and WWDC or right before/after might be whats still planned.

I don't think there is any way they will release essentially 2 different models in a matter of a month. They will release the new body style this week or at the very least announce it.

This is the kind of thing that gets the community angry though. Would apple pull something like this? Only way is if they mention the upcoming version when they release the current version with 3G.
