Wait a week or so and then try again just to see if anyone has any in stock near you.

If you see one available in a week or 2 or 3......cancel your online order

I ordered online on launch date from Apple - late in the afternoon - 64g Wifi Black will ship in April 1, delivery April 6. My smart cover will be delivered on March 30.

I'm fine with waiting hopefully by this time a larger supply of screen/back covers will be available along with carrying bags/cases that will accomodate the smart cover.

If you absolutely NEED your iPad now, there's a good chance that you'll be able to get one if you can wake up early and wait in line outside the Apple Store. I got in line yesterday at 8:30 for the 9:00 open, and even though I was the first one without a ticket, some people with tickets didn't buy because the store only had certain models.

Just ordered my 64GB AT&T 3G model online, not going to bother trying to hunt one down locally. I don't have the time to go wait in line at stores every day or so unfortunately.

I don't need it now anyways, more of a luxury toy, so I can wait the 4-5 weeks projected on Apple.com.

If I see one before then, I'll pick it up and cancel my online order, but I am not counting on it.
