Theme Park was so much better! The original. There would be sick everywhere and the cleaners would be on a fag break or stuck in a loop walking in circles!

The engineers would all sit and eat their lunch whilst the rides were burning down and people were screaming!!

I wish they would bring this game back!

Do you remember... THEME HOSPITAL ? OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!

Aaah, the old good times. Getting this for sure! Now only Microsoft has to release Age of Empires 2!

That iAP-crap "Castle Siege" version is a shame to the originals.

Is Castle Siege suppose to be "Castles: Siege and Conquest" from the early 90's?

I love that game.

Games like this need upgraded graphics or its a non starter.

IDK about that, the NES Classic Edition graphics are really dated, but the games are not.

Some people, like myself, really like classic games.

We have super high resolution and pixel dense displays. Not upgrading the graphics is a mistake. It looks really poor on modern displays.

I like classic games too, but they looked a lot better when the displays we played them on matched the resolution of the games.

Woohoo! I've been waiting for this for ages! Unfortunately, that means days that would otherwise be productive will be lost in an imaginary amusement park....

Okay ... I just went to buy this and notice that there's a Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 by Frontier, based on the original PC game, that's only $2.99 with no IAPs. There's also Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 that was just released today by Atari, and it's filled with IAPs. I had to search a little harder for the Classic Atari version. I didn't realize there were so many versions already out there for iOS!

If you wanna play a similar game, but updated for 2016. Download Planet Coaster. Same creators who left Atari and made another studio. it is incredible.

If I'm looking at the right thing, this is a game for Windows desktops, not an iOS app. It is also $45 vs. $6.

I appreciate your pointing it out, as it looks great, but it is not really a substitute for this.

I LOVED Theme Park. They screwed it up massively when they made a new iOS version and tried to make it Clash of Clans style with micro transactions and week long waiting time.

Just let me pay for a full game for once and stop forcing 'gems' and other ****** payments on me

Ooh, bring it to ATV now please?

YEEEES! AOE 2 is still, in my humble opinion, the finest gameplay ever in an RTS.

Well, I've tried it out and it's certainly the RCT of my younger days, complete with pixelated graphics and all the original scenarios. The controls are okay; laying paths and building rides is a bit more tedious than with the original game.

I also checked out RCT 3 on the App Store. That's apparently made by Chris Sawyer and has a revamped interface specifically for iOS and updated graphics. I guess the nostalgic part of me likes "Classic", but the gamer part of me prefers RCT 3.

ive been waiting for this day for so long. i love playing transport tycoon on my ipad and since RCT uses the same engine i always wondered why it had not yet been ported. My battery cycle count is about to sky rocket i think.

So glad its not this mobile version crap. Full game port

Chris Sawyer wrote the original game in machine code to squeeze every ounce of performance out of the hardware of the time... machine code scares the crap out of me -- talk about a labor of love.

How about you not be a tool! He was saying if you wanted to "re-live" the feeling of sitting in front of your PC for hours playing RCT with an updated version, buy Planet Coaster. NO GIVES A F*** about mobile games!!!!!! If you look at the tread, we are talking about a full PC game being ported to a mobile platform! IT's STILL A FULL GAME! NOT MOBILE CRAP!

Edit: I'm sorry for going off like that.... I just can't stant how people have to be debbie downers all the time! If it's not the game for you, then don't comment! Why does there always have to be one person who gripes about the price and snaps everyone back to reality from the enjoyment and discussion about re-living our child hoods!
Um... their reply didn't seem like a downer at all. They respectfully pointed out that wasn't what they were looking for, and then said "thank you for pointing it out." Also, maybe you should stop being a debbie downer about the existence and prices of mobile games.

I always liked a lot of the older games. I was always hoping for a recent port of Sim Tower for the Mac and iOS.

That game was so addicting. I know there is a Sim Tower knock off on the app store, but it is ruined with the IAP.

This is a merging of SimTower and Yoot Tower, its sequel. Not sure if it's what you're after. It's got support for English and Japanese.

I would wait for another release. I downloaded and played for about 20 minutes. When the game went to assess my goals and progress, it starting crashing. Each time I try to open the app, it crashes. Ive done all the ideas, close app, force close app, delete and reinstall, all of it, and it continues to crash.
