Yeah, I followed op's link and it was down, refreshed my own window it was fine.
No problem, huge LSU fan here myself, from NOLA, but I'm living in Hell-abama right now. Just kidding, it's not bad here except during football season where one teams mascot is an elephant and I have no idea what roll tide has to do with an elephant and the other team is a tiger and they yell war eagle.
Yeah i am actually in Slidell, LA. I never actually could afford to go to LSU. But i am a big fan. And yeah i don't like Bama much either. And i get alot of crap from ppl down here who likes Bama. Including some of my family!!! Go figure!?!

Status: Shipped as of 12:30am 9/18 - no tracking number
Talked to customer service and was told that the phone will not arrive this Friday.
I think ATT is very misleading with the preorder this time. They never state ETA before you place your order. Then, they try to get around with "your order will arrive as soon as September 21" which means it can be any day after that.
WThey make it impossible to cancel the order so you got stuck and cannot go get a phone at an Apple store because you are no longer eligible for update!
Never seen an online business that says order is SHIPPED but it is actuall not and you wouldn't get your order till 14-21 days!
Ridiculous and Pure evil!

Wow I was in Mandeville until 2008. I still have family there and go down a few times a year.
My order sounds similar...
I ordered a White 32gb iPhone 5 on 9/14 at 9:27am ET from AT&T Premier. I got the first confirmation email, and the second stating "as soon as September 21, 2012" but I didn't get a T&C email but I do remember agreeing to it during my order because I'm grandfathered into the "unlimited" plan. My status came off back order this evening and my CC has had the full transaction pending since Friday but I don't have any tracking info. My order number also starts with 2557-1101, it shows that I ordered on 9/14 through Premier and 9/15 on the regular order status page. Hopefully we get our phones on Friday!
ignore them. they do do that vague time frame on purpose but if it says shipped, it shipped. Just wait till tomorrow morning. If you don't get tracking by then, then you can freak out.

My order just did the same thing and I ordered at 7:41 EDT. Seems like good news, maybe we'll get them Friday.

Contemplating trolling an ATT live chat rep for a while tonight, they arent going to give me the info i want, even though mine says shipped, so I might as well dish a little back to them. (very bored tonight, and dont have class til 2:30 tomorrow) wish me luck

I am actually from Da Parish. Only someone from NOLA would know what that is. I moved to the northshore sometime after Katrina.
That would suck if true. When I was on back order=1 last night the rep told me I would not get the phone by Friday. Then 45 minutes later it came off back order and today it shows shipped. I don't want to get my hopes up but it is very evident the reps have no clue what is going on at the fulfillment center. I also think they're telling everyone that October date to cover themselves.
Have fun get a transcript and see if you can get them to tell you something totally nuts like everyone's phone will be delivered by storks direct from china
As of today, my white 64GB says shipped. I'm premier, so it will ship Fed Ex, but no tracking number, yet. Fed Ex could be up to 2 day shipping, so I am hoping for Friday.
Sorry, Hope you get yours on Fri. This is kinda exciting trying to figure out when they are going to be delivered. The phone I ordered is for my son- so I hope it works out as planned. I wouldnt even know what to do with those fancy Iphones, I just have a simple satellite phone that makes calls. I wish you the best for Fri.
