No. Premier doesnt get priority or get proccesed faster. I ordered via premier on the 24th (16GB WHT) and i am currently on BO

I've been following this thread since the beginning, from personal experience and seeing user experience the 32, 64 sizes are shipping faster. (specially white) I posted a while ago and, same as you, my 32gb white came a week after placing the order.
A little over a week ago I placed 2 different orders:
16 Black
32 Black
Both orders are in BO, after a week.
For me that's the pattern: white is shipping faster in 32, 64 capacities.
Ok, all of the 9/21 16gb white people:
I went off back order in the last hour or so. I ordered 9/21 at 6pm EST. My black 16gb ordered the same went off BO on Monday and arrived this morning. I'm expecting the white one on Friday.

Just to let you know, my husband's 16g black phone went off of BO around 1 AM on 10/16, shipped on 10/16 and we got it (UPS Next day Saver) before noon on 10/17.
For clarification... folks who are saying their phones are "coming off backorder," does the AT&T order status say "Backordered"? Mine has said "Processing" since the order was placed on 10/3.

Did you order yours in the store or on the phone? I ordered mine over the phone on 9/21, but my ATT order status says that I ordered it 9/22. Does your order status say ordered 9/21? I know that sounds confusing, but I am frustrated, b/c I *DID* call and place the order on 9/21, but for some reason, it's saying that it was placed on 9/22.

I did it through ATT.com and it says ordered on 9/21. I definitely understand the frustration, but it's probably not worth taking any action since yours will most likely ship within a day or two.
My white 16gb (9/21) Came off of backorder within the last 2 hours.

So I am about to order a 32GB Black... I am trying to decide if I am better off ordering through ATT or Apple. I see that 32/64 seems to ship faster, but I wonder if it is happening through Apple as well. (I'd rather order through Apple since I get cash back) Getting the phone sooner is obviously preferred since I have someone who wants to buy my old phone.
My phone is arriving tomorrow after 19 business days of waiting. Good luck to all waiting.

id go through apple reservation process (order online right at 10pm for instore pick up.) my 32gb took exactly 3 weeks just to come off backorder. The white 32/64gb's shipped the quickest, 1-2 weeks.
It's a crap shoot either way. You can try to reserve one online at 10pm at night, or you can preorder and wait for it to come in. I ordered a 32gb black 10/1 and am still on backorder and expect to be for another week or two. Apple seems about the same for that, but I kind of trust them more than AT&T.
If I were you, I would just check reservations until you find out. Surely you will find one eventually before Thanksgiving.
I've been trying to do the reservations but have come up empty so far. At this point I may just order through Apple and hope they start shipping them out faster soon.
