I wouldn't bet on it. Are you like me and on an AT&T business account? If not, you should call around to other stores like your local Best Buys, RadioShacks, Targets, Wal-Mart, etc. I hear people are even having luck at Sam's Club. I agree that should not order through AT&T or Apple at this point. Call these retailers every day and try the Apple reservation system every night and soon enough you'll find one.

Wow they're already on 24th order dates for black 16GB? I ordered on the 23rd but a white one so still waiting! I'm getting excited though! I'm getting sick and tired of my Samsung Galaxy I. It's complete crap!

I have been following this thread for a few weeks now. I thought its time I add my tid-bit.
I ordered White 16GB on the late evening of 9/20 on AT&Ts website, so it was considered as a 9/21 order. It didnt get processed until 9/22. I was told it would ship between 10/11 and 10/22. I spoke to a rep last night and found out the shipping of my phone has been pushed back until 10/22 and 10/31😡😡😡. I dont think its fair at all or even right! . I was never notified of this at all! AT&T originally told me between 10/11 and 10/22 so they should hold up to it!

Don't worry, AT&T reps don't know anything. I see some 9/21 white 16 got off backorder last night and today, so I think you should be next in line, maybe sometime this week

You guys are right!!!! I just got off BO!!! OMG I am in shock!! I didnt think this would ever happen!!! WOW!!! I am SOOO happy!!! HEHEHE hopefully it ships soon!!!! It still says 0 for shipped Qty though. My Outter Box has been sad for about a week with no phone to make it whole😀

Verizon has 32GB in stock at certain stores in NYC. If i'm not off back order by Friday I will just switch carriers. I've been looking for a reason to jump off the AT&T ship. This may be it.

WHAT?! I ordered on friday 9/21 but it didn't get processed till 9/22. Our Black 16G came today, but my white 16 G is still on backorder. What is this about another 9/22 being off bo??
