ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Wow i feel so bad...

I was told the black 32gbs would ship much faster.

I order on october 2nd,

still on b.O. with a black 32gb

I wish i had iordered a white, then just traded it i for a black when more stock came around...

any news for the 32gbs???
 
My colleague ordered a 16GB black from Verizon early last week and he is getting it today by Fedex. Seems to be 10 days at Verizon. AT&T slow as molasses.

I ordered 1 16GB Black and 1 16GB White on 9/22 (I actually ordered it 9/21 at 5 PM, but the website says the order date was 9/22).

16GB Black went off back order and shipped 10/16 (yesterday) and is scheduled to get to our house today. Of course, that phone isn't mine....

My 16GB White is still on BO............. :mad:

I am kinda in the same boat but I ordered 9/26..

I know the black one is gonna come in on time but thats not the one I'm using lol

Looks like 9/23 order for blk 16gbs are moving, no shipping info yet, how long will it take?
Excruciating wait will be over soon!!!

Checking the last few pages for others' statuses, it sounds like it'll be a week or two still before a 32GB black iPhone 5 ordered 10/3 will ship... :(
 
For black 16gb's seems to be a bit of a pattern...

Each day they finish the order day they started and begin the next day. For example, yesterday they seemed to pretty much finish 9/21 and start 9/22, today it seems they're finishing 9/22 and starting 9/23.

This seems to have started back over the weekend when the 9/18-20 people were being taken care of...I know this doesn't mean it'll continue but just interesting to point out for those still waiting for their black 16gb. That would put me (9/30) at about 10/24-25 to come off back order. My shipping window is 10/18-10-29. It sucks to admit, but they are keeping people in their given 14-21 day window...even it does seem long as hell.
 
Been following this thread for a while, my black 16GB ordered 9/23 just went to backorder 0 not too long ago.

You'd have to cancel your order and reorder, putting you at the back of the line. After two weeks of waiting, I'd stick with it. The only way you should is if you'd want a white 32, those seem to shipping within a week. But the black 64 is shipping REALLY quickly if you can spend the extra cash.

any 9/22 wht 16gb movement? it SUCKS they're already on 9/23 blk 16gb orders but us 9/22ers are still waiting.

still on BO 1. processed 6:49am 9/22. SIGH...
 
10/14 Order

I ordered a black 32gb over the phone on 10/14. From reading here I guess I shouldn't expect my phone any time soon. However, I can't complain AT&T let me upgrade at the subsidized price and I wasn't eligible until May of next year.

That is very scary!!!, it need not be like this, it is a very simple task, ATT makes it soo.... complicated and uncertain, OFF Backorder should be = shipped, cannot imagine what other steps are there in between.

In the 24 hours or less cases, I'd say that is what happens. Just because people haven't gotten tracking doesn't mean it hasn't shipped. Most people receive their phone the next day that they receive shipping info, unless it's very late at night or over the weekend.
