Got my shipping info just now. SO EXCITED.

Timeline:
09/26: ordered 1 16GB white & 1 16GB black (14-21 business day shipping)
10/21: came off BO at 4pm
10/22: shipping information at 2pm

2nd day air delivery.

Honestly, they did ship in their alloted quoted time.
Hope everyone gets theirs in a timely manner.
I'm outta here.

Guys anybody know what date they're on? I'm 09/27 and still nothing :( I need to know what date so i can cancel my plan with my other company.

Checked last night around 1AM and my status went from BO 1 to BO 0.

Checked again this morning and I have Tracking information due to arrive in ~2 days.

2 Black 16GB i5 Purchase date: 9/27
Off of BO: 10/21
Shipping date: 10/22

Im glad you got yours but is pisses me off even more knowing that we pretty much have the same order and im still in the dark.

And there doesn't seem to be any movement today in anyone's order here. I am still hoping my 10/1 order ships this week, but we could see some horrific thing like no one gets anything. Supply seems to be ridiculously constrained.

I hope that doesn't happen. I'm still banking on a midweek delivery since att told me the latest my phone would be shipped is 10/29

I haven't asked them about mine. I was quoted 14-21 business days. Today is #15. I assume mine will ship Wednesday or so, but it's very possible I have to wait another week. I just assumed the 32GB black models were shipping faster than the 16GB ones, but so far mine hasn't moved.

I'm hoping that mine gets shipped this week. I don't really care when it arrives, I just want my phone to come back order so I can stop checking these forums and such. Be sure to give us an update if anything happens.

Nothing. They've told some people who have called and asked that their phones have been delayed to 21-28 days instead of 14-21. So they don't care if they take longer than originally thought.
 
Finally - both phones are in our hands.

9/21 - called ATT and ordered 16g black and 16g White
9/22 - processed order and order date according to AT&T

10/16 - Black 16gb off backorder - b/n 1-6 AM
10/16 - Shipping confirmation - 9pm
10/17 - Received 16g Black phone
18 Business Days


10/18 - White 16g - off backorder 1 pm
10/19 - Shipping confirmation email - 12:05 AM
10/22 - Received White 16g
21 Business Days

Original email from AT&T gave me a 21-28 business day estimated shipping time frame.


Very excited to have my phone and to have my orange otterbox....
 
has anyone gotten any news. I have heard the black 32gbs are getting off in around 15 business days or around exactly 3 weeks from when you order them. Has anyoine with a black 32gb that ordered on 10/1 gotten off of back order yet? I ordered my black 32gb on 10/2, and i was hoping to get it off bo tommorrow and hopefully recieve it by friday.
 
Their quoted ship days are way to broad for me and feel like they could change at any time.

Well he told me it wasn't delayed at all and it would ship between those dates.. he didn't say anything else on the matter. I asked him if he knew anything else and he said it was just showing that was my shipping window.

Thanks for that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see in the next few days. I'm hoping for something either later today or tomorrow. I'm counting on AT&T to pull through in this one.
 
So I talked to an AT&T customer service rep over the phone. First I am told that that my 10/01/12 order of a 16 GB Black (ordered in store) shipped on Friday. I did not believe that since I didn't receive an email confirmation for the shipment so I told the rep to recheck what he just told me and he couldn't find me a tracking number.

At that same time, I'm on AT&T online chat and told the rep there to confirm the shipment of the phone and I was told that it hasn't shipped yet. Then the rep on the phone tried to convince me that I have not accepted the terms and conditions for that order. At this point I am annoyed with the customer service and I ask to speak with the rep's manager. Stayed on hold for 20 minutes or so while the manager comes on the line. The manager comes in and tells me that everything is in place and the order will ship between 10/19-10/30. I don't know who to believe, the rep or the manager?

At that same time I am still on the customer service online chat and the rep online told me that my phone is off back order. I send her the link that I use to check my order status and tell her that when I check through that link, it shows me it is still on back order. The rep replies saying that their information is more detailed than what we can see and that the phone itself is not on back order but the nano-SIM is. That doesn't make since? How can the SIM card be on back-order?

I was told same thing by rep today - ordered in store 9/29, 16gb black.
 
my orders placed on 10/1 and 10/2 for 16gb black and white iphones are still on backorder. hopefully at the end of the week it comes off.

Wow, of all things to be BO it's the SIM? I would've thought it was the phone! Anyway, keep us updated, I'm trying to get a general understanding of when people come off BO. I ordered on 9/30, so ours should come off BO at around the same time. I'm also hoping that it comes off BO tomorrow or even later today if I get lucky.
