Hey guys, this is my first post in a desktop thread.
I'm running Lion. Since I can just swipe four fingers to switch to iTunes to see what's playing, I have no use for BowTie. And Geektool wouldn't work. :|
Hey, what are you using for the dark menubar? I was using SnowTunes, but I don't think there's a Lion version yet.

It's common to use desktops with all sorts of branding, probably more so on Windows. I've seen desktops with Disney logos, McDonalds, Ferrari (and every other car manufacturer), Asus, Dell, HP, etc. Apple certainly has a lot of passionate users, so of course they get probably more than their fair share, but I don't think it's too unusual, and certainly not weird. I have a Star Wars desktop right now, and I'm not sure how that's so different.

funny story about that.
i didn't really do anything. when i had snow leopard i had deleted the dock using Mirage (DO NOT USE THIS ON LION IT WILL SCREW IT UP!!!) when i upgraded to lion this is the dock it gave me. that dock you see is actually the 2D default dock that comes with the OS.
as for the icons i use i got them in collaboration with a Melrose who is a member here at MR. i changed them manually but if you don't know how to do that i recommend that you use LiteIcon

i think that maybe the reason they were such a good team is because they played very well as a team. Talent wise however the players of today are probably better as a whole. But the problem is its more about the individual and less about the team. So i would agree that they would be able to beat the players of today but only because they know how to play as a team cause that was the style of play back then.
took this picture when i was in mexico a week ago. it was taken with my dads point and shoot so i don't know how good it might look on a larger display. also the images are too big to upload to macrumors so they will be in MobileMe gallery. does anyone know a way to get them on macrumors server because gallery is going away next year. the images are 2.1 MB
