I like it too, but sometimes I get bored of the same desktop.Capt Underpants said:Am I the only person here who leaves the default Apple desktop on? I just can't seem to find one that looks better than the regular Apple desktop.

plus just so you know, unless the original is different or unless you specify, photoshop will save your files at 72 pixels per inch by default. (you need to know this if you ever want to print somethng you photoshopped) if you go to size image, click off the check mark for "resample image" (you don't want it to physically resize the picture at this point) and get it to about 300 pixels per inch. the numbers in the upper boxes for the image size will change - that will be your "print size" - so if you have a large picture and you want to print it at 5x7" change the inches but make sure it does not resample the image... this will give you the max resolution (pixels per inch) and the picture will be more crisp.
this rule of thumb also works for keeping quality images just for desktop or web use.
when you go to save, be sure you save at a decent quality or it will degrade the image as well. you can also fiddle with your compression settings but that is a whole other story.
hope that helps

That is one awsome desktop and picture. I am always on the look out for really good San Francisco ones with the Golden Gate Bridge in, any chance for a link to the image file?highres said:My brother took a series of shots of San Francisco (my hometown) from Treasure Island so I stitched them together in Photoshop and made this desktop.
