that's not my desktop, but i know what the program is because i use it too.
it is called Adium
it is a chat client, similar in use to trillian for pc, it allows you to simultaneously use pretty much every chat client out there.

Same one as most of last month... It wasn't ment for widescreen, so part of it is chopped off, but it works.
