Now that background is sweet. Do you have a link for it? Can I ask what the witches hat app is?

How do you do that!??
I want to know for when I get My mac, BTW can you tell me the links to where you got it??

Cleardock & text icons are the only things that are done with the dock. I aligned it to the left with Onyx (you can do it with cocktail too). To the right of the trashcan or konfabulator widgets, iTunes Bar, widescapeTimeSerializer, widescapeWeather.widget, and then the thing showing album art comes with iTunesBar.

Text Icons // direct link

ClearDock

iTunes Bar // [skin : Transparent White; included]

widescapeTimeSerializer & widescapeWeather

the black bar at the bottom is part of the desktop, well actually I EDITED the desktop to have the black bar, which is just a black bar with a gradient in the top to make it look glossy.

align the dock to the left with TinkerTool, Cocktail, or Onyx.

copy & pasted from somewhere else where i explained it :)
hopefully it makes sense

august

i'll post my desktop soon. its a shame i have to be away, as i am usually first in line to post in these things!

i'm also away from my mac, and am having to use a dell latitude X1. a nice bit of kit, but i prefer my mac:D

nevertheless, i am really enjoying being away so its worth it. i'll post my mac desk top in all its goodness in about a week's time.

ciao for now!

I'd love to use that Leopard one, but it's just way too dark for my liking (and Rev. B iMacs don't have very bright screens).

I usually don't do really dark backgrounds but lately I have been doing a lot of typing at night and bright backgrounds tend to strain my eyes a bit. plus, they say admittance is the first step to recovery...:D

taken today, anyone guess where this was taken/who the artist is
