Yes, I have a thing :p

Mine for now. I took it myself at Warped Tour. I got in trouble for getting so close even tho i had a VIP pass on my wrist. In the end, it was all worth it. :D

And who could blame you.

I used to have "things" too.

Well ya know....
Apparently I'm the only one who has a thing for her. Everyone I know gives me crap.
Lately I've developed a "thing" for Sophia Bush.:D

Pointandclick, you have a preview of snow leopard??
It can be found in the usual places.;)
I have it on an old 20g drive in a usb enclosure. I can't really tell if it's just faster, or if it's due to not having a bunch of apps and pref panes etc.

I have high hopes for SL. The only new features I really care about in Leo is quick view and finally network sharing preferences that aren't castrated. I'd rather have performance than a bunch of stuff I don't use.

It helps that I'm a bit of an OS junkie.:p I have a stack of Linux distro's that I tried once and put away. Win2k, Server 2000, 2003, XP, Vista. 10.4, 10.5 + x86 versions. What can I say?

Changed mine once again.

Wait, do your SArt.bin files also make the interface look like the Quicklook interface? Because that is disgustingly amazing.

I'm a bit green and wary of changing my system resources, though. I like the menubar the way it is, but if I could get the unified look of the system to look like the semi-transparent black stuff.. wow.

Yay for Diggnation. :D
I don't even watch tv any more. There's barely anything worth watching.

Diggnation
Systm
Tekzilla
Netflix - I just signed up with the trial and now paid for my first month. Any shows that are watching I'm just getting the whole season.

Fiddling more with GeekTool.

Unfortunately it seems like there's a bug in Leopard, where if you activate/deactivate entries in GeekTool, sometimes they all end up becoming duplicates of one entry. All your work is destroyed! Thus I couldn't duplicate entries and just modify and I had to start from scratch. Thankfully it didn't take me as long before.

Not sure which one I like more. I wish the bug was fixed so I could keep the other ones and easily switch back and forth. :( Now I'll be wary of fiddling with the damn thing.

[Edit] Oops! My iTunes song display got cut off. Better fix that. :)

wow...This is an awesome desktop. I have a couple questions:
What are you using to display your itunes info?
How do you have your adium set up?
How is you your note transparent?

Thanks!

Purchasing Germany, huh? I've considered buying a country or two. :p

wow,
just tell me how did you mod your screen? from adium to the dock.. the whole story :)

First off, I don't quite understand why people still use Grab.app to make screenshots. Is it that hard to do -shift-3 to make the screenshot?

Sorry if that sounds obnoxious, but it just annoys me because seeing "Grab" at the top left hand corner of the screen shows that the person... well I won't go there.

Okay, and second, I want to say this right off the bat before I get people flaming me for this: I'm a hardcore Japanese anime fan, namely for a show called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Here are my two screens (MacBook 1280 x 800, on the left, and 19" Samsung SyncMaster 950p CRT 1280 x 1024):

Also attached, is a pic of my current Dock, which is hidden in the MacBook screenshot on the left.

Dock icons, from left to right: Finder, Mail, Safari, iChat, QuickTime Player, System Preferences, iTunes, Terminal, PhotoBooth, iPhoto, FireFox 3, Visual Hub (video encoder), VLC Media Player, Colloquy (iRC Client), Shakespeer (client for the DC++ P2P network), Transmit (FTP Client), Skype, Transmission, VNCViewer, iToner (Ringtone "injector" for my iPhone), Proxifier (I'll be using that when running NetShare from my iPhone so I can run more than one app at a time when online via EDGE), CrossOver (Windows API wrapper), my current stacks (Documents and Downloads), and finally the Trash. I know the first 10 or so icons are all  first party icons, and the Trash is as well, and I know they were obvious, but I wanted to count it all down for ya. = ).

I don't know what files the actual images are at the moment. After I post this I'm going to bed due to me having some commuting to do to get to a job interview I have later in the morning/afternoon.

Enjoy!

Im assuming that would be fairly memory intensive? I only have 2 gigs...

No it isn't very memory intensive. I have the same iMac as you (late 2007?) and I only have 2GB of RAM, and I still have a good 1GB left while running mail, safari (with a flash radio player open), iChat, and Aperture. Haven't paged out once yet, although I haven't tried running Wallsaver with VMWare open at the same time (need more RAM for VMWare as it is).

Don

PS,

Sorry it took me so long to reply!
