did anyone see the $1 million glass stairs in one of the apples stores in l.a?
imported from germany just for us they spend $1 million only on glass stairs lol so i would say austrailia is in for treat
I went to Chicago for the first time last summer and visited the Apple Store while there
They had those glass stairs as well and I must have walked up and down them 2-3 times amazed at how beautiful the store itself was including the glass steps
I don't understand what is so special about a mac store. There are already a number of mac retailers (such as mac1 that only sell apple and apple / related products). Sorry... But I don't see what the fuss is all about. What has it got that mac1 (for example) doesn't have?
Apple does carefully pick where they put stores, they make the first decision based on the local affluence, any future stores in that area are usually based on the foot traffic of the existing stores.
Yes, Newcastle is an extremely picturesque place with some great landmarks and fantastic architecture and scenery. Have you ever even been to Newcastle? In my experience, most Southerners are so blinkered they rarely venture further than Nottingham - if that! Take your southern head out of your southern backside
In terms of affluence, Northumberland Street was ranked as the most expensive shopping street in the UK for rent, outside of London. That was four years ago. Leeds is also one of the richest cities in the UK but they have no store. And finally, Sydney (being one of the worlds most richest cities) has only just got it's Apple Store.

Got to watch you Geordies mind. Seen what you are capable of with the whole Mike Ashley fiasco, I'd hate to see what you'd do to an Apple Store if it turned against you
